Davis's company was dissolved by the state two years ago. He still lies to clients and claims to be incorporated.
Davis bills out $150 an hour for divorce investigations. What his clients do not know is that the workflow relies 100% on new hirees with no credentials, training or other qualifications. Investigations are performed by people hired from craigslist for a net wage of $6 an hour or less. He offers $10 gross pay, but the applicant must pay for their own vehicle expenses. Recording video from a vehicle is most of his business. He openly admits applicants will have to drive all over the state.
He lies on craigslist that he is seeking "trainees". the fact is that without 10+ years in law enforcement the state of MA will not issue anyone a license. The only way to be a trainee is to get hired as a police officer, and you must make the rank of sargeant.. These employees will never be licensed.
You pay Davis big money, and a poor naiive fraud victim with zero training or experience performs surveillance for him for less than minimum wage.
He claims to have half a dozen non-existent offices. He has ONE.
His website is a huge fraud. The company he adverties no longer exists, and he spews boastful stories about his credentials.
He isn't going to do your investigation, so his credentials don't matter!
He also tells applicants they will make more money in the future. But that's obviously a lie because he's been advertising on craigslist every single week for 4++ years. He simply fires employees after 60 days.
He refuses to provide a PI license to applicants or even his name. Craigslist users routinely remove his ads by flagging and he has a mob of disgruntled rip-off victims spamming the board with warnings.
I took the job to see where it would go, and left when he was proven to be extremely dishonest and sketchy.
I since read state regulations and discovered that NONE of his employees were "trainees" ; we will never be licensed as a result of this job and would have to seek police work for 10+ years to get a license.
The text of his fraudulent ads will be posted here soon.
