These people are so deceptive. I don't non how they keep a good record. Maybe they pay off their unsatisfied customers like they tried to do to me but I wily much rather people know how horrible le they are . They have the worst customer service. Alana lied through her teeth to get me to reserve and manny the dispatcher was equally as bad. I hope they go out if business fast as they damaged all my belongings. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! BEWARE THEY ARE CROOKS who try to pass themselves off with tge likes of the major van lines.
Due to where we lived (Upstate Ny on the Canadian border) they were our only option. When they arrived August 6,2014 to pick up our stuff, the truck was already half full with other people's items. On the paperwork I signed when they picked up our stuff, there was a written promise, of delivery happening between August 9-27. Here it is now September 2, and we are still waiting. We have been given 3 different delivery dates, none of which happened. We were told at the end of last week, to expect delivery on Wednesday September 3. Tried to call today for a time frame, and now it may not be delivered until Thursday!! How is this company still in business?
They quoted me over the phone without seeing any of my items, which was flag number one. Sales girl alayna was nice enough, however once they received deposit - She was never - ever there - again. never helped. They took deposit, once they picked up they are a whole day and a half late and kept making excuses. We had to wait for them, and they had kept telling us they were coming. If you google nationwide van lines review, you will see many great reviews online, but all they are doing is asking you to give a review before they actually pick up your stuff. Then they scan a picture and put it on your website, before they have a chance to upset you.
They DO NOT communicate - period. they don not return calls, they do not tell you when they are going to show up. Very frustrating. When they came to our house, they said that we had to pay just a little more. When they delivered our furniture a week late, our bill was $2,752.00 higher than it was supposed to be. Our driver hector said if you do not like it, too bad I will take your stuff and hold it till you pay.
I have to say, I was flabbergasted at the way I was treated. The customer service specialist there Manny, is a big jerk. He actually cursed at me on the phone and said I should consider myself LUCKY that they were even delivering my stuff any time soon that they did not charge me enough and were not making enough money on me.
I recommend you stay far far away from nationwide van lines, and don't believe all the positive review on google, they submit those themselves and make fake reviews. They pay an internet marketing company to do that.
