Scammers and thugs
This company uses deceptive marketing of all sorts, and seems especially to target senior citizens. They sent "official looking" printed literature claiming that a vehicle warranty has expired and must be renewed immediately. Sometimes they make it look like it came from the car dealer or manufacturer if you don't look closely. They also practice cold calling, an abhorrent thing.
Their "service" is probably a fraud. Their marketing is definitely dishonest. Yet apparently no government agency is willing to tackle them. I'm sure they have robbed thousands of senior citizens this way.
This company is a ripoff and lies to you about your coverage stating it is a renewal to the one from the dealership. All lies. When I tried to have my car repaired on July 7, 2015 I was told nothing was covered even though with the policy that I had previously paid for the exact same repairs. The Customer Service Department is not even worth talking too because Leanna talks over you. I finally told her to shut up and listen to what I was saying. I am forwarding all my paperwork to my attorney and I hope he can sue them and envough people have filed complaints so he can do a class action suit.
I inquired about their car maintenance insurance program, and after speaking with three people and receiving the cost information, could not get off the phone with their representative. I was very cordial, and repeated numerous times that i would consider their information if sent to my email address, which i had given thyem, but he would not give up trying to persuade me to give them a credit card number to pay a deposit.
I finally said that i did not mean to be rude, but that i had to hang up, and i did. I have not lost anything from this transaction, but wooud like to keep others from wasting their time with this obvious set of harsh tactics.
In 2014 my Mother bought a chevrolet impala from tuscaloosa al., solely in her name.
On feb. 25, 2015 was checking my 78 year old mothers mail, and found a motor vehicle service notification.
The card said the warranty was expired or may expire soon.
I called the number, told them I was Charles Jay and that my mother bought the car. He, bryan, proceeded to tell me that she had to many miles on the car and that I should buy the warranty now. An argument insued concerning teh facts: Remember, I do not own the car nor is my name anywhere on the paperwork.
Bryan informed me that:
1. I had to make down payment immediately, while during same phone conversation. If not the price would immediately go up.
2. He Bryan, informed me of all of this information even though it was not my vehicle.
3. I again explained the money could not be obtained at that moment and could we call back later. He said no, that I needed to pay now.
I then asked for a manager, who's name was also bryan. I angryly explained the situation to him and he attempted to excuse the attitude of the previous Bryan. I began using foul language to the extreme as I/we will never be pressured, intimidated, or frauded without a serious reaction.
I then called the Chevrolet Dealership and they immediately told me to hang up on these frauds. If I need an extended warranty, come to the dealership and they would be more than happy to oblige.
I then called Bryan back, ask him again, how much is the extended warranty. He said the total was 2000 plus. I asked him if he had the paperwork ready. He said he did and was ready to take my info.
I called him a gdsobmfinbastard. That I would come to his office to settle this and would call the bbb, montana st charles chamber of commerce and my attorney.
DON'T PUT UP WITH THESE FRAUDS PEOPLE. WE HAVE TO MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM.

Had my mother called instead of me, it would have been really bad, resultwise.
The employees have attitudes that need physical adjustments. DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT!!!!!!
I received a call las night from a female with National Vehicle Protection, she identified her company as a Broker. She said my warranty had expired and wanted to offer me a new one. I had to speak with her Supervisor, a male, tell him about my car and he gave approval and transferred me back to her.
She then quoted me a price of $3,393 & I told her I had a quote from another company for $2,500, she said, let me speak to my Supervisor, put me on hold, returned with a reduced price of $2,393, a $1,000 reduced price.
She ask for the name of the company I had the quote from and when I told her, she said, you don't want to deal with them, as they are not 'Certified'.
She he then became even more aggressive and again stated all I needed to do and must do RIGHT NOW was give her a CC for the 'Downpayment'. (She could not believe the other had not asked for a Downpayment).
I ask for a phone number, so I could think about it and call her tomorrow. She said no, I had to do it NOW! Then I ask if she would call me tomorrow and again, the answer was NO, YOU HAVE TO DO IT NO!!
So, I said No thank you and hung up, truly believimg it was a scam.
