I received a trifold letter today that looked like a govermental document you might get from the Social Security Department or IRS.
It was an announcment that I could apply for a NEW ( they used caps) state-regulated life insurance program to pay Final Expenses. Regardless of my medical conditio, even if I had been turned down before. It claimed that if I sent in the return post card attached to see if I qualified and did, that this Special Program paid 100% of al fueral expences not paid by governmnt funds. It was desgined for all New Mexico citizens. At the top of the page it says New 2014 Benefit Update. Supposedly, it is suppose to be a suppliment.
It had a correct name and address on it. I am disabled and draw SSD.
I found it was scam going around at least since 2009 and wanted to report that it still is.
