Moves are stressful-hiring a company to help with that stress should make it easier.
At first it seemed as though National Moving systems seemed very professional/kind. Our initial contact, Frank was very accommodating...until the move actually happened.
Upon pick up of our items the company gave us a 20 minute notice, in Denver, during rush hour traffic. Since we were unable to make it we had a friend help us out. The guys who loaded up our items did a great job packing our items and both they and Frank Confirmed our items would be delivered within 7-10 days. You can imagine our surprise when we were told our items were sitting in storage. Upon taking it up the "food chain" to Luke he assured us our stuff would be delivered within the next week. You can imagine our surprise again when hat didn't happen, and we were told it was another week or so out.
I understand delays happen. My issue is the over promising, under delivering. Initially when I made Luke aware of how upset/concerned I was with his communication, he handled it very unprofessionally. Unfortuantely, professionalism and customer service does not exist in this company, and all communications with Luke, Frank, Lupa and Jessica have gone negatively. (promises to give us updates, to follow back up, etc.). Every time this company committed to doing their job, they failed on the delivery of their promises, even today, when we are still trying to contact them.
At one point Frank offered to step up and deliver our items himself (which he back tracked on because he doesn't have a commercial drivers license) he then asked if they could do ANYTHING else for us and to tell us what we want- we wanted a discount- he said that would not be possible that all he could do would be to deliver our items sooner, which he then stated they could not
In addition, they never sent us a contract, an itemized list of our items or made us aware of additional fees for delivery (if the driver had to walk further than 75 feet).
Finally, our stuff arrived (with items broken and missing) and when we reached out to Lupa she offered us $400 for a missing bed, (which cost much more than $400). We told her we did not want money, we wanted our stuff. She was supposed to follow back up with us, and never did. I only heard back from the company after writing negative reviews, because I said I would adjust my review if they did right by us. Jessica promised us an update as to where our items were, and also offered a credit to our payment. We told her we genuinely just wanted our stuff and would not accept any credits, etc., until we knew where our stuff was. We just want to know where it is!!! As of today, (1 week later) she has not returned any of our calls/emails. In addition, Frank, called me and said he was going to threaten to "sue" me for defimation of character because of my reviews. On top of his threat, he offered us a cash amount to remove the reviews from the websites. Again, we asked for an update on our belongings, and no response.
We have made attempts to reach out to the "Miller's" (owners) of the company, but based off of other reviews I am reading, I highly doubt that will happen either. For a company that prides themselves on customer service, and being a Colorado native myself, I was excited to work with this Denver based company. Unfortunately I have never been more disappointed and appalled in my life. Shame on this company for being unprofessional, unreliable, and unhelpful, in addition to trying to BRIBE their customers. I am now misssing over $1000 in merchandise and am having the headache of a person I 'trusted' to do right by us threaten to sue me for giving an honest detail of my experience.
We have already paid this company in full (half check and half cash which was requested by the delivery driver) and again, have half of our stuff missing/broken.
