I used to live at an apartment community in roseville whom never returned a phone call or ceritified letter. They said I never gave a 30 day notice which is a lie and I had proof of that. The next thing I knew NCS hit my credit for almost $9000.00. I was completely shocked. I was in the process of trying to finish up getting a job with a bank, and because of my credit report which was highly affected by this, I did not getthe job. I had no idea I even owed this they never contacted me, they just showed up on my credit report. I contacted National Credit Systems more than one time and they lied and lied and lied I sent them all of my information more than one time proving what I actually owed and they just kept saying they never got anything.
I finally contacted the credit bureaus and disputed the amount and they changed it three times so far all because I kept disputing. The amount to this day 4 years later it is still incorrect. They are extremely unprofessional. They don't care if you have proof or not. They are your typical collection agency, scumbag company looking to make a buck from anyone and they will ruin your reputation and harrass you. I finally contacted a lawyer after 4 years of dealing with them and found out how unlawful what they have done really is, as well as changing the amount more than one time on my credit report is traceable and it has to be deleted once I finish all the paperwork on my end.
I only owe $350.00 due to the apartment community keeping my deposit and renting the apartment out in less than 30 days as well as them using my PGE bill in my name. Again, I sent all the info to them and they just continued to lie. I can't wait for justice to finally be served to this company. They are terrible. Anyone who works with them and has a collection, write names down, write every word down and keep all your documents because it's probably lies and you will win against them if you just contact the right people.
