Nano Concepts formerly known as Ceiltech whose corporation filed for bankruptcy just over a year ago is right back at it doing the same thing again. They have changed their name because they couldnt escape the numerous complaints lodged against them.
Dont be fooled by their smooth talking sales pitch at trade show booths or on the internet. These people have for many years operated by selling a business opportunity that fails and blaming the person who gave them $$.
There are many reports on Charlie Werz, Tim Richardson, Ceiltech, Freedom Cleaning Services and others that are part of a scam. There are many people that have posted about them and want their money back.
Nano Concepts said that the postings are from the former president who moved to Arizona in 1996. These postings start in 2004 so they are lying.
If you see this and give these people your money then you will get what you deserve. If you didnt see this posting and they have your money, then tell them you want your $$ back or you will file a lawsuit with the state of Florida and the state they sold you a business.
THIS POSTING HAS BEEN DEEMED LIBEL BY A COURT OF LAW
On August 19 2014, in Superior Court Phoenix Arizona, Nano Concepts prevailed in our lawsuit against Mario Signorelli. After hearing evidence the judge ruled that Signorelli committed libel, and posted untrue and defamatory statements on the internet. Additionally the judge issued an injunction ordering the removal of the defamatory material from any website, social media site, blog, or other forum where it has been posted. This post is specifically named in the order. The order can be viewed at: www.appliednanoconcepts.wordpress.com
Thank goodness for this site. I just came across this and almost gave these guys $15,000. These are a lot of people yelling about Nano Concepts or Applied Nano Concepts, Nano Grip, whatever they call themselves, but if it wasn't for this site I wouldn't have begun my search for the scammers in Daytona.
The company sells a Home Business Opportunity which is fraudulent and they also misrepresent the product which is sold as a part of it.
I bought into this program for a Home based Business Opportunity, providing
Anti Slip Treatments to Tile Floors and Tubs.
In all the correspondence and on their site, it states that their products do
not harm or change the tile after application.
Well in fact they do, based off the Test Tiles I have present. It actually altered every tile I have, even the most forgiving of tiles.
And that is on (5) Different Ratios the highest being 28:1, as instructed by Charlie Werz, how to properly test.
In addition they tell you that you can use their products in over 90% of
establishments. Again, something I find NOT true. At least not in my area.
You cannot use their product on Fiberglass Tubs, Wood Floors, Some Marbles and
High Shine Tiles. You cannot use on floors that have been sealed, epoxied, or
painted either. They FAIL to mention any of this.
Also what was agreed upon, was TRAINING. Yes I had a 1 hour training session,
but was told there would be at a minimum of three. They have failed to reach
out to me in that regard either. They are to provide both sales training and
actual installation training too by phone.
I had a gentleman from an environmental disposal service, tell me that it is extremely Negligent and Irresponsible of Applied Nano Concepts, to sell this product to someone over interstate lines and think they can train them in the proper use of acids such as these.
In essence, since they received my MONIES, if I don't reach out to them, I
don't hear from them. (Even when I have made complaints via email several times).
I have had one application training session around an hour, then they had to
run. That was with Charlie Werz, the President of the company.
I had one Sales Training session with Steve Sewell, which was laughable to say
the least. It was nothing but us merely small talking.
On top of that, they glorified during the sales process that their is a group
of Nano Concept Operators on Facebook, that all of their owners share ideas and
tips on treatments and marketing ideas. They told me it was a fantastic
resource!! Well, I got invited to the group after making this major purchase
and found there to be only ( 24 ) members in this group. And the group was
crickets.
That was one HUGE red flag for me.
Another facet of the business Opportunity was on the Nano Concepts Operator
Portal on their website. This is where you can get fantastic flyers to use for
sales and much other information. They claimed that there is very useful
webinars and training videos. Again, that was not my findings at all.
The last Webinar was back from 2014. It was 46 minutes of around 4 people
talking. Nothing informative. Nothing workable. Nothing useful. Just 4 people
talking and one trying to figure out how to work the Power Point
presentation.
Lots of the webinars, pertained to their TWO OTHER business opportunities you
can buy into.......Nothing to do with the flooring treatments.
I think it is because their new "opportunity", which they really tried to push on me too is for a Ceiling Cleaning business.
Now onto the marketing flyers. None and I mean none of them are usable. Neither me, nor my wife, nor other Operators I have spoken to have been able to use them. The grammatical errors in them alone would be a total embarrassment to try and
give to a potential client. Not to mention all of the spelling errors. It took me hours upon hours to redo all of them.
You begin to ask yourself, what exactly was it I paid for? Meanwhile, you complain, no one responds.
These flyers are suppose to be customizable, where we can add our logo and
contact info. Which when you try to do that, it scatters everything about the
page and then you have to keep constantly going and fixing. I could never get
them to work. The fonts were weird, the lettering ran together on lots of
them, the verbiage was very unprofessional.
I could go on and on. The Owner Charlie Werz, keeps writing saying he is willing to refund and work out the logistics but then I never hear back from him. So I am more than willing to send back the NOT USABLE product and everything else they provided. I want them to cover shipping. I have lost on top of what I paid for this "opportunity", an awful lot of money and time.
So I reversed my payment to my credit card. Charlie fought that. So they reversed it back. Now we are back to fighting.
I almost get the distinct impression that Charlie Werz and Applied Nano Concepts enjoy these types of battles.
For two weeks, after my payment reversal, I got I believe 3 emails from Charlie, that stated, I am trying to figure out logistically what to do with the product, when in reality he was consulting with counsel and they came up with what I feel is their strategy to damage me more financially and mentally.
Update today: 09/19/2018 - They now have a lawyer involved. Willing to give a Refund of $390 less than what I paid for this fiasco. However along with the Refund Letter was another document with various demands, in order to acquire my refund. Basically it boils down to Applied Nano Concepts does not want their product back???? FOR SOME REASON???? They want me to dispose of it at an Approved Hazmat Facility. Provide them with a Certificate. This costs lots of $$$$$ to do so.
They will not allow me take it to my APPROVED HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT CENTER.
But yet their lawyer in one of the correspondence emails, says call my Fire Department to dispose of it. Yeah right, our Fire Departments don't do that. That is why we have Household Hazardous Waste Management Centers. But they won't provide me with a Certificate so it is unacceptable.
They are doing everything in their power to make this as financially burdensome and cause me as much grief as possible.
Oh let me add, their lawyer yesterday sends me an MSDS sheet on this product Nano Grip. It appears to be 100% acid. But what I found intriguing is the MSDS he provided me was 8 pages long.
The one Applied Nano Concepts send me in my Business Packet, was only 2 pages long??
Why? Because if you read down further on the Lawyer copy, is says, "FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY".....USE ONLY IN WELL VENTILATED AREA.
Funny, my MSDS don't say that.
I responded back to their lawyer, with a 9 page response letter, citing my case, my concerns about what their client is doing and what it has done to me financially. Also I provided documentation, pictures of damaged test tiles, links to other complaints about his client and on and on. So far crickets again. They are not responding.
One of the demands they made of me in order to get my refund, was to suppress my 1st Ammendment Rights, afforded me under the Constitution of the United States of America. They want me to reverse all of my complaints at all entities. And to not make any further reviews or the like.
What they fail to realize is some of these reviews will never and cannot be removed.
Oh another update: I realized that Nano Concepts sent me TWO TIMES as much product as what I should have received which in turn doubled my shipping costs, because this product has a HAZMAT Classification of CORROSIVE, which means specialized shipping boxes, Placards on the truck and INCREASED SHIPPING COSTS!!
IF they would have only told me these products are CORROSIVE, I would have never bought into this.
So when they send me two times the weight of Hazardous product, clearly the cost factor goes up greatly.
Yet their refund offer only includes me getting paid back what I paid minus freight. I should not have had to pay that much freight!
I did not order, request, expect, demand nor pay for that amount of product.
So my conclusion at this point, since they have not responded since my 9 page response letter, is that they in fact don't wish to do what is right, no matter who views what has happened to me.
Please people learn from my massive costly mistake. Don't buy into this. They seem like really great guys on the front end, before they get your money. Gosh, they sent me videos, just to say HI, they sent me another goofy one as well, they really got me to like them.
Then after they got my $$$$.....Wow, that changed quick.
