I was contacted for another time by an individual named Bob Thomas this time to become a Mystery Shopper agent. They want all kinds of information but the last time this same scam took place the certified check was sent from Florida and drawn on a bank called Texas Gulf Bank that is fraudulent- I talked to them down there.
There hope is that you will wire the money via Western Union to a place like China within 48 hours where these characters really are and then when you find out in 10 days that the check is returned to the bank no good, you are the one responsible for the money that you sent. In other words it is a rip off and fraud.
What is more, once you get on the list you keep on getting hit with several Job Offers with different names but the same form letter. If you go looking to see if the legitimate Secret Shopper company works like this it does not and you have to pass a test to become one of their shoppers. These thieves are just using the name of good companies or those that are like it to fool you. The best thing to do with these E mails is to delete them or send them a reply that they are being recorded as a scam and reported on the inernet like I am doing.
