I met James Jones at his father-in-laws business. At the time I met him he was on his way out to start his own business called My Venture Nation. James convinced me to follow him because he knows more than his father-in-law does in this consulting business. He promised to fix my LLC that his father-in-law screwed up.
James had promised to build my business credit lines and an established company that looks like it's been established for several years. So I followed. In hopes to start my future on the right track, i put all my faith in James. The original agreement with James was a $1500 cost for the service. However since I referred two more people to James he took off $500 of my price.
On 3/30/2014 I signed the contract with My Venture Ntaion LLC, owned and operated by James jones.
James promised that my LLC documents will be ready in two weeks max and as mentioned in the contract to allow the paper work to process up to 3 months for the credentials to be established for my LLC. Well in is now November 9th and James Jones hasn't returned my LLC documents along with my EIN number, and important company records.
Along with that I have nothing that he promised, nothing!! As you'll see on our text conversations over and over I asked him about my docs and he danced around the subject. I tried to meet him half way in town to drop off my docs and he never showed up. Even at times he would bring his son to the barber shop I always asked him why didn't he bring my things with him. My Venture Nation and James Jones was highly recommended to me by a close friend. When I contacted him he said he had a program that builds business credit and he could help me build business credit for my newly formed LLC. So, I made an appointment at his office to get more information. He said for $1997 My Venture Nation guarantees an 80 Paydex score within 120 days after the payment has been received or your money back. I wrote him a check for $1000 and the remaining balance was due in 14 days. After I paid the remaining balance he requested the company record book with the EIN and other important documents. He said the person I paid to set up my LLC. didn't do the paperwork correctly and he would have to change a few things so I left the book with him.
After 30 days I checked with him to get an update on his progress and get my book back. He assured me that everything was fine and that we should have some business lines of credit in the next 30days. Then 60 days went by and he said the with my credit scores that everything is fine and him and his team was working on it. I asked him for the corporate record book back and he told me to pick it up at the office. I made several appointments to meet him at the office to pick it up but he never showed up.
Then 90 days go by still nothing. I called and texted him leaving multiple messages he never returned my calls. So I waited 120 days per the contract to ask for a refund.. As of September 2015 no business lines of credit, no corporate record book or important company documents, and no refund. I went to his office where we first met and ask the receptionist "Where is James Jones" she said I don't know but a lot of people are looking for him, he no longer has an office here.
