I am a former patient that was not going to post anything - until I received a bill one year after a cleaning - with no explanation of what I was being billed for.
They are Criminals and I intend on filing a complaint with the better business bureau.
Last year, I went for a cleaning on their dentistry shuttle. The dentist I grew up visiting passed away so I needed a new place to go. It was HORRIBLE. My cleaning felt like a mix between water-boarding (they kept choking me with water) and a shampoo (that's how much water ended up on my face and hair).
I was then told I needed to have 5 cavities filled. Note that I've never had any and they recommended getting fillings for "pre-cavaties" - better to take care of it now they said. I ended up declining a followup for the fillings. I also declined the extra xrays they wanted to take - even though I told them I had reached my yearly limit cause they did them earlier in the year. They tried to talk me into it saying it was ok to have more, then later relented after they realized I wasn't budging.
I walked away highly disappointed in the cleaning job they did. I indicated there were stains they didn't clean - and was told by the dr. that I must be taking a certain kind of drug - because the stains I had couldn't be removed. Funny, every other cleaning in my life, those stains were always removed... Even after I explained they had been removed before, they insisted these were different and nothing could be done other than teeth whitening to remove.
I complained to my former employer begging HR and the president of the site - to stop doing business with these people. Sadly, they must not care about their employees - because they did not listen.
My final complaint made it's way to Urgent Dentistry directly and I was offered a free cleaning by Dr. Kakaris - which I declined. I had only a cleaning - and my dental insurance covered it. End of story for fall of 2013.
Cut to Fall 2014 and I get a bill for an amount with no explanation of the charge. I have left two messages - asking for an explanation and have none.
I have never done a review - but I want to warn other people. DO NOT GO TO MY URGENT DENTISTRY. They try to talk you into services you do not need. Spring of 2014. I found a honest, professional dentistry practice - who cleaned and **easily** removed the alleged impossible stains I had AND confirmed I did not need any fillings because I have NO CAVATIES.
I shudder to think of how many people have been taken advantage of by these people. Had I listened to them, and continued seeing them, my teeth would still be stained and I would have fillings for imaginary cavaties.
Pay attention to the complimentary reviews on here and other review sites. They are all highly - suspiciously SIMILAR. Hmmmm I bet it means they are rating themselves.
