I want to warn others about My Personal Trainer in Uniontown Ohio. I went in there in early June desperate to lose weight so I listened to this glorified speech about signing up for not 1 but 2 years with them in order to get t he best deal for $180 a month which included 2 training sessions a week on nautilus equipment and protein shakes and bars weekly. Sounded great for awhile and I was enjoying it until my reliable and affordable sitter got a job offer so my husband and I had to put our son in daycare. I knew that would hurt us financially so I asked MPT what I could do. The only options they gave me were to either pay the remainder of my balance which is $4,000 or extend my contract 1 more year bringing my payments to $127 a month. At first this was fine with me but then we had to pay on a hospital bill and now we are behind on other bills. I asked MPT if they could sell my contract to someone else and at first was told yes then later that day I received a text saying no but I could find a friend or family member to take it over then we could do that. Why the hell would I want to put someone I care about through all this BS that I am in? In my opinion, These people could care less about your financial difficulties or well-being as long as they get YOUR money!
