similar experience here in wv- non-payment despite more than one fax with requested documentation. missing appointments because no gas money to go. this company is not helping wv only themselves. repeated calls put you thru a revolving door of '-i don't see that (whatever) in our records, those people are not here, call back monday- oh yes that is a holiday- then call the day after- etc etc. so many cases of this company in trouble in several states over the past decade at least- why would any smart business person let alone gov. official acting in the interest of its people- not do their homework! the company has no idea of our rural transportation challenges- the terrain, the weather anything- i do not think they care. routing is impossible! ie- did you know they moved morgantown closer to the center of the state??? wow- only 50 miles from davis wv! amazing! eyes rolling here. please wv transp officials- do something to improve this situation!
We have a similar story as the person above from WV. We have been waiting since October 9th 2014 for payment and have yet to receive a payment yet they owe us 4 payments. We also mailed the documents they requested and they said it , wasn't received, we also faxed the information twice paying $2 each time in which they said the first fax was unreadable and finally acknowledged the second fax was received and ok. I have called numerous times and they say call back in 15 days and there is still no payment and no resolution. MTM does not deserve to have a contract with any state and the Better Business Bureau should look into them.
We live West virginia - we have medicaid . We were changed from our method of turning paperwork over to dept. of health and human services over to a company called MTM. We were assured that it was a better program and we would recieve reinbursement quicker. When we started the progran on 10/1/ 2014 we were given instructions to send a copy aid card social security card.car insurance. We faxed all the information and waited and waited. Well we were told that the was not recieved. at 3.00 per page it was sent and said recieved. well then after waiting about a week, tried again and was told it was not recieved again = altogether the information was faxed from 3 different locations and even mailed the copies of the same information and they still havent got it yet now this has been since october -no money ?
They will lie to you every step of the way. Because of these practices of MTM it has put the company that I worked for out of business. These people have destroyed families because of non-payment to the contracted providers of the services. MTM is incompenet in thier business practices. They should not be allowed to have a contact with Texas and/or the federal government. The longer they hold the money, the more intrest they make of monies that legally does not belong to them.
MTM is the biggest ripoff of medicaid non-medical emergency transportation. They are taking money from a government contract and not paying the provider for service rendered. When you call MTM to ask where the funds are for the provided services, they respond to with call your provider reps. When you call your rep about the situation, they tell you to call MTM. So the entire company will just give you the run-around and yet never seem to pay or they pay small amounts every two to three weeks. Because of their incompentence, it has put the company that I work for out of business. Which is horrible becuase it is only a few weeks before Christmas. This company has literally ruined families because of their business practices. If you decide to provide transportation services to help out people in need, please try to find any other broker besides MTM transportation. They are a horrible company.
