We originally moved into the property in May 1st 2014. the day before we moved in the home was broken into and the items that were stolen were reflected on the revised lease. upon moving in I made notes on the tenant portal issues that needed attention at the home. like broken wall socket and some fans with wires showing. one year later we were informed at the end of the lease the owner was moving back to property which she has not been to in a couple of years so we advise them that we will be out at the end of the lease. when we first moved in the home was in good condition besides the issues mentioned the biggest issue was the painting that was very poorly done and the property manager created a move in video but we of course we're not allowed to see. may 1st 2015 we moved out of the property. we have the lawn professionally done the week of moving out with the company they used, we clean the house from top to bottom and make sure everything was correct and back to original create a move out videos for ourselves for our record showing everything was clean and back in order. There were no painting that needed to be done, no carpet in the entire house and even power washed the back patio which was not done prior to move in.
Now today we get a certified letter from the management company stating from our $1595.00 deposit they were refunding $79.00 after it says lawn care (which was done and recorded) cleaning... (which was done and recorded) and repainting... (so i have to pay for the cheap paint job that was explained to us before move in?) And all this cost over $1500??? I sent a certified letter against the charges and require a itemized list and pricing and before and after pictures proving each claim. I have NEVER had an issue like this! Hopefully they will correct this injustice and i hope anyother great renters are taking action against them. I have our attorney on it and every page possible until this is resolved.
