April 17, 2013 Morningside Animal Hospital 1626 S/E port Saint Lucie Blvd Port St. Lucie, Fl 34592 Attention: Office of the Administrator Dear Sir, On Tuesday 3/26/13 Lolly underwent a Professional Dental Cleaning at Morningside Animal Hospital. Her recovery from the Anesthesia and two extractions appeared to go without incidence until Monday 4/8/13 [13 Days] when she stopped what little eating she had done and became inactive and lethargic. We opted to wait a couple of days to see if she made a change for the better. Her condition did not improve and we were able to take the advantage of a cancelation at Morningside on Friday 4/12/13. Dr. DiTrapani did a series of tests that are a matter of record. The results of the test revealed a HIGH WBC which we were told is indicative of infection. Lolly's temperature registered elevated. Dr. DiTrapani indicated tooth extractions do not require an antibiotic. Lolly was prescribed a 10MI daily treatment of Metacam which appears to be having a positive effect. It is our opinion that Lolly's infection was a direct result of the Dental Cleaning and extractions; including but not limited to the absence of any medication. Therefore, we are disputing the April 12, 2013 of $435.39. Sept. 28, 2013-Morningside's contention that THERE facts"show there is no correlation between the dentistry performed on 3/26/13 & her illness on 4/12/13. This service provide is obviously very top heavy financialy and must gouge every customer that walks in the door. Some of the documentation resembles what looks like unauthorised taped telephone conversation. I Addition Morningside accuses me of "uneducated, uninformed and nothing more than that". I hold a MBA in administration.
