We placed a PO on 2/15/2013 and Monteva required that we wire transfer the money before they would ship parts. Months went by without the parts being supplied, and excuse after excuse from their sales department. Monteva finally admitted that they could not supply the parts, and Monteva forwarded a "credit note" to us. We requested that they wire the return money to us.
On 6/5/2013 Monteva faxed us a BMO Financial Group wire payment confirmation which it turns out was completely falsified. The bank has no record of the control number, the transaction never took place. We have continued to contact their accounting department, and only recieve emails apologizing with NO action.
In October 2013 we recieved an email claiming that they were being re-financed and they would refund our money "shortly". We have been in CONSTANT contact with Farah at Monteva, but only receive promises and no refund. We now know that there are many companies that they have pulled the exact same scam with. This company is a complete FRAUD. Do not purchase from Monteva Aviation Group.
We had sent a purchase order to Monteva back in May 2013 and received their order acknowledgment & proceeded to wire them the $. After weeks of waiting for shipping confirmation, they then came up with lie after lie of why they couldnt deliver within the Time frame in which they quoted. In the aviation business time is everything. We then had to order the part elsewhere and asked Monteva to refund us our $. We were told everything from the company was being refinanced to the wire was sent and were even provided a phony bank transfer copy and no money was ever received. We have been emailing back and forth with Farah from Monteva for months now and get told the same story everytime, wire will be sent in 2 weeks and that we should be patient. This company is a bunch of lying, stealing, dishonest people. Now I read online this isnt their 1st time doing this either. BEWARE, they will steal your money too!
The exact same situation happened to us as with the other Aircraft parts company Aero Link that was already reported. Send PO and wired several thousand of $ and going back and forth for several months until they admitted that they don't have the parts they sold us. However, money was never returned to us and a Fraud letter was sent that remains unanswered as of yet. This is a real bad company and we will put some effort into banning them from ILS and PartsBase.
