We were VERY UNHAPPY with our experience with MONSTER ESTATE SALES. We met Josh after someone we know told us that they knew of him and his job but not more than that. We decided to use him. BIG MISTAKE!!! He did not want us at home for the one day sale and we left but WE SHOULD HAVE STAYED. He could not provide us with ALL the sales receipts...and the receipts he did give us added up to substantially more than he claimed to have sold when he paid us. He had no explanation for the missing receipts except "some people changed their mind" (for 40 times???). Those receipts should have been marked "void" or "customer changed mind". Instead they were MISSING. Also we found out about credit card sales that were sold via his cell phone THAT WERE NOT REPORTED TO US! After the sale was over and a customer came to pick up our elliptical machine the buyer showed us the credit card receipt on his cell phone to prove that he had purchased it. It was not listed on any receipt given to us and we did not get paid for that either. BEWARE! Before the sale I saw him looking at my silver wedding cup that he later told me that he "never seen it" but it never turned up and was not listed in the receipts I was given. I DO NOT TRUST HIM!
Extremely rude and unprofessional. first when we pulled up to the house we saw several people going in and out of the house. My wife commented how strange it was that there were people leaving empty handed. I didn't think nothing of it. We went inside and I saw some jerseys on the couch and asked how much? He said $25.00 each and I thought for Mark Sanchez & Tim Tebow Jets jerseys? But said nothing even though he never looked at me because he was to busy texting on his phone. Then I asked about some playstation 2 games and he said $5 each and when I looked at him surprised he said, "Hey thats what I get!" I said nothing and kept walking. Then I found some dvd's used with some scuffs and scratches on them and asked how much? and he said $5 each and I said, "What? Really?" and he said, "ok $3.00 each" I said "wow," and he said, "Hey I usually get $5" so I said how about "how about $3 for the 3 movies?" and he said with major attitude, "Why don't you just go to some yard sales?" I was stunned. Told my wife who was holding several items to let's go and bought nothing. Just for the record I am a reseller and usually spend between $100 and $300 at estate sales. Not only did he hurt the homeowners opportunity to move items but cost himself whatever commission he makes. I told him he was very unprofessional and that not only would I never go to another monster estate sale inc.'s sale but would let the world know of my experience. Worst estate sale company ever. Moving? Don't call him. Call anyone else but him. I also found other reviews from people he sold for stating that he stole items and money from their sale and couldn't explain why where or what happened and couldn't supply receipts. This guy is a real scam artist stay away buyers and sellers alike.
