We purchached a Frog Recycler from this company in early May for our pool opening. It was delivered on time but we did not open it until our pool opening company came to open our pool and install the new recycler. When the box was opened the recycler was broken and pieces fell out of it. I called MKM and told them and sent a photo of the broken unit. I tried to purchase another recycler in our city for the pool opening company that morning, but was unable to get one, so our installer used the broken unit and set it up as best he could. MKM promised to send a new unit. They sent an email after their telephone promise asking us to take off the unit and send it to them before they sent a new one. I told them I would not because I was not going to stop our chlorine from dispensing in the pool for a week or so and was not going to buy another unit from another company while waiting for the replacement unit. After going back and forth with them for a month ..... yes a month, we are still using the broken unit. It only dispenses chlorine at the highest number and just a fraction of what it is supposed to dispense. King Technologies, the maker of the Frog Recycler got involved and told us that MKM would send us a new unit. We received that unit yesterday. A previously used unit with no lid. I can't regulate my pool. I am going to have to by a new type of chlorine dispensing unit and I will have to pay our installer another 300.00 to put in a different unit. So, I am out the $289.00 of the original unit, and I have to buy another unit and pay my pool installer again. All in all, I will be out almost $1000.00 by the time this is over.
