The owner Steve Miller from Miller Mills Upholstery and Miller Mills Decorating in Delray Beach is the most unprofessional, untalented and shady man and runs his business as a 3 year old adolescent child with anger management issues.I have dealt with a lot of unprofessional vendors in South Florida, but he is at the top of the list by far.

After making an appointment 4 days in advance Steve Miller called 40 minutes late telling me he couldn't make it and he had to cancel. Against my better judgement I rescheduled for the next day. He again showed up 20 minutes late and quoted me on 2 bench cushions and a quilted, tufted banquet backing for my kitchen wall. His quote came in higher then 2 other local quotes I received.....but sold me on his talent, skills, better materials and a quicker turn around and promised to have it done in three weeks. I gave him a deposit and three weeks came and went and no call.....so I called him to ask what was going on he had one excuse after the other and promised he was on top of it....this went on for another 6 MONTHS.

AFTER 8 MONTHS and too many excuses it was clear to me that he was not doing the work himself but farming it out. He should of never taken the job. He rents a UHaul truck every Friday to pick up and deliver his jobs and he uses a group of part time, mist-fits, to make any installations.

4 men came barreling into my house with no regard or any manners, they did not wipe their feet off and banged my new back drop against all my walls and furniture and stained the white fabric with their dirty hands. But lucky for me they came with a 3 foot rusty hammer, Velcro and a bunch of used, over sized rusty nails. They then proceeded to bastardize my brand new painted, dry wall in the kitchen and nailed approximately 20 strips of uneven Velcro into my wall. I ask why they were going through all this trouble and why didn't they just drill the 4 corners into the wall? In which they responded ""ugh yeah that would of been probably better"". After they then attempted to Velcro the panel to the wall I realized the panel was in 2 parts and it should have only been 1! There was a big ugly seem in the middle that did not close up and the measurements that Steve took were all off.....8 Months of waiting , being patient and understanding and I have now payed 75% of the bill.

I left a message for Steve that it was wrong and needed to be fixed. He insisted that he needed to take the panel with him so that he could REUSE the $1.00 he spent on the buttons leaving me with an ugly wall to stair at...3 months later still no panel...and one hideous eye sore of a wall starring at me every day.

I ask for my money back 3X's which he also offered because he too realized he could not do this basic job. I told him I would pick up my money at 12:00 PM and he called me at 11:30 AM and ask that I give him 3 more days. Again against my better judgment, I agreed....2 weeks later I get the panel and he hired a 3rd party to install it correctly. The new installers said that this was nothing new for them and he had been called in several times before to fix several of Steve's mistakes.

In my stupidity I had also given him 2 chairs to upholster for another $1000.00. Because of all the the aggravation Steve said he would not charge me for the chairs.....but I still owed $500.00 balance on everything else. I said okay....as soon as I get the chairs I will then pay the balance. We made a date and a time...I told him to make early I had a busy day. Well of course no Steve after waiting 35 minutes I had to leave and go to work. He texted me that they were on the way as I was leaving. I gave him the curtsey of a call to let him know I had to leave and that I could meet him later. He then had a temper tantrum and started yelling at me that he was going to keep my chairs. He also yelled that I was trying to not pay him. I calmly explained I was waiting and so was the money and that he was the one that was late and did not call. He just kept being nasty and yelling at me abusively.

He then starts texting and harassing me he wants his money and if I don't pay he would serve me notice at my place of work, LOL.... he has my chairs and he wants to serve me.

I told him to stop contacting me that my attorney would be in-touch. She scheduled another delivery for today, January 3rd, at 9:30 AM...she told him if he could not get their by 9:30 AM he would need to reschedule. He kept insisting that I pay him with cash. My attorney told him there would be no cash that we want a record of the payment like all the other payments I made to him. He would be payed with a check or credit card.

So this morning waiting for my delivery.....NO Steve...I have my check waiting AGAIN, no text, no call to my attorney and here it is 1:53 PM and I still wait at my house for my chairs.....Really!....I do NOT recommend!
