Mike Douthat sold us a fake Dooney & Bourke bag at Happys Flea Market, Friday Sept 26 2014. 3 friends and I confronted him Sunday Sept 28 2014 and he just told us to FU*** OFF! Followed him to a chinese restaurant in Salem Va where he called the cops. Cops told us to leave! Mike would not give us our $95 back that we paid for the fake bag... We suspect this fake bag is from China.
Now pursuing legal action... We are currently trying to find his residence to have him served with a subpoena!
Michael Douthat STOLE $1200 from myself and $700 from my husband for electronics he was providing us with.
The electronics included iphone accessories and iphones, and some tablet devices.
He provided us with 14 iphones in total, that came in one single bulk shipment - but never provided any tablet devices AT ALL .
It is the same girl we saw him with that day we met him at Happys Flea Market
He was charming we thought, and he seemed intelligent. He also had went to a school in Beijing China - We engaged him in a long conversation , And we talked about our business we were starting - And our EBAY business . He claimed he could help us and offered a deal - We went with it because of his charm .
But , he is nothing more than a rotten little con man -
We hope this report serves as a warning for anyone trying to do business with him - If you are offered similiar deals
After the deal , He will never answer your calls again !
There is also a similiar incident that involves this gentleman in Roanoke , with a well-established cell phone repair business - They lost $4000 to this Michael Douthat guy
I will not write their names out of respect , But it just goes to show how convincing or/charming he can be .
Digging into this individuals past reveals he does have work , And has done translation work , But why he likes conning people ? Still a mystery .

Calling him and trying to discuss this with him was useless - we were always hung up on
We intitally met Michael Douthat at Happys Flea Market, on Williamson Road, In Roanoke- where he seemed engaging and had many people exchanging words with him, He was also with a nice looking chinese girl - Who he has pictures with on the Facebook website page we discovered of him.
