A roll of linoleum was loaded onto my pickup by employees of MG Building Materials. It was not secured properly to endure a 25 mile trip back home even though they asked me how far I had to go with it. The corner of the roll blew up and tore about 30" toward the center of the lineoleum. When I took it back today, they refused to make it good stating that they had a sign up that said they were not responsible for anything that left their store." That cost me $216.22.
In April of 2014, I bought a remnant roll of linoleum from them. When the contractors unrolled it, it had five big gouges in it. Fortunately, they were able to cut out tiles from the access to fix it so it could be used. I went in to the manager and told him what had happened and showed him pictures. He said "well it was a remnent and it was sold as is." I told him I did not se a sign anywhere that said "as is" and I thought that was very not a very good impression on his company.
