If you are in need of gas on Lake Minnetonka, I strongly advise that you NOT go to Metro Lakes Marina. The employees and owner are not professional, not properly trained, and not willing to admit their mistakes. I put gas in my boat, left the marina, and after 15 minutes of using my boat, I ran out of gas. I was never given a receipt and the gas pump is outside the customers view. The employees seemed very distracted (on cell phones) and may have made a mistake. When I ran out of gas, I called Metro Lakes Marina and was speaking with the owner. The owner said this was "impossible" and accused me of calling him and his employees "liars". I stated I was going to stop by the Marina to talk to him about the situation and he responded by saying he is a "big guy" and I am no longer welcome at his gas station even though I have been a customer for 10 years. After towing my boat, I stopped by the marina to talk to him and was greeted by multiple swear words and was also threatened by physical harm. I said I was going to call the police because he became violent towards me and his response was "you can call the police and I will charge you for tresspassing". The moral of the story is that the "most honest guy on Lake Minnetonka," is a violent crook. Also, for your information, he charges $8 per gallon which is outrageous. You can find cheaper gas on the lake and receive much better service elsewhere.
