I ordered a camera online from Digital Pros, only because their price came in about $40 cheaper. I received a call the next day from Tom of Digital Pros asking me for my security code on the back of my card, and when I asked him to confirm the order # just to be sure, I ignorantly gave him the security code, commenting that I've never dealt with an online vendor whose secure application doesn't auto-generate a denial data entry when ordering, and he began to get loud and rude with my questioning the transaction.
He then said out of the blue, "Hey, why didn't you take advantage of our freebies? You don't want a camera strap and lens cover??" I replied, "Alright. Stop right there. Those shouldn't be free, since they're included in every other model box I've shopped for, so don't give me the freebie scam." He then asked me about a batter and the strap and other accessories, and I asked that the order be canceled and I would like a confirmation of cancellation and he got very angry.
I asked for the supervisor, and of course, he claimed he was the highest ranking one there and refused to give me any other sales rep. I was adamant I wanted a note of cancellation, and have not yet received it. My bank and my credit card company has been made aware of the situation.
