Merchant Services 123 contacted me and offered ""this amazing opportunity"" to make money at little cost to me. It statred with $400 to get in with them. Then they wanted $995.00 to create an LLC for me (I did not take that offer). Then they talked me into buying $1900 worth of leads so that I may get $200 to $500 per lead with every closing and possible residuals.
This was a credit card processing company that would call your leads and offer terminals to them or offer financing to the company at a good interest rate. It all sounded very good and reputable and I needed the money and residuals that they offered. At the time, my husband had been out of work injured for almost 5 years.
I would look at my stats online and saw that I had many pending offers (15-19) and about 2-3 closing at all times. When I would call for my commission of the $200 plus amounts they would say it was coming. Then they changed ""their policy"" thru the bookkeeping department, and said I would have to have at least $1000 in commissions before they would cut me a check.
This went on from November 2013 into February 2014. Now they have vanished, the toll-free numbers don't even have a dial tone, and all the contact numbers I had received are no longer valid. Another scam and another sucker that I am for believeing that this could be a valid and lucrative opportunity.
