Worst experience ive ever encountered with a dr. My husband has been taking suboxone for several years and for anyone that knows, in order to stop being an addict you must still have mass amounts of spare money to spend to afford the clinic and get the perscription you must be extremely dedicated. After the birth of our baby in Dec and moving to a new home we have been strapped major for cash, fortunately he got a new good job that may turn into a career in the next few years.
I called Medsave on E North St in Worthington to get him back into a dr and they began being so supportive and willing to work with his 40-60 hours a week at work and get him in on sat, then changed it to fri at 5pm and we were able to make it but be a little late. We called to inform them.
When we arrived he told him what drugs he would fail for since he hadnt had treatkent in almost 3 months and the nurse assured him everythkng woukd be fine and collrcted OUR $300 and headed out for thd day. He took his urinescreen and when the dr came in he istantly began refusing treatment bc there nurse did not schedule correctly with no councelor in the office and he coukdnt help him. We said ok thats cool jusy give back the money he said ot was gone Nd if he cake back tue clean, (one thing he failex was THC) npt pssible to remove in four days he would help him but simce he just started a new job no way ever he could take off a week day wjth ine day notice they laughed at him talked on the phone and said the money was gone an in yhe bank. So with no other option we left at six fifteen PM and headed back home an hour away with no meds for him and no money for him to stick out theweekend. Mondau came ans he called many times and finally spoke to someone that hardly spoke english to tell him he could not have his money. He doesnt want to attend thia office after how they trested him it is important to have a good relationship with a doc who is there to support your drug addixtion reabilitation.
Now he is out $300 and 5 days away from payday OR he can walk out tomorrow at work to go back and fail for marijunana again since it takes more than a couple days to exit the body and, loose his job in the process! He is trying to do right for us. And no dr ive ever seen would do this. You cannot pull an addict off the street and expect them to be clean their very first visit, thats what the medication is for. To hell with Medsave in Worthington, the most unprofessional practice ive ever ever witnessed and cannpt believe especially reading reviews online that they have somehow loat their license for malpractice, i could deepen the story and go on but im tired and the situation upsets me terrible, and our attorney WILLbe taking it from here. Please, do not attempt to use this clinicfor suboxone treatment you will definitely be taken advantage of and have uour money stolen.
