This Lawyer took money and did nothing for me and lied to me thru out my lawyer client relationship from 2011 until 2014. I hired stokes to appeal my case and basically stated what I thought was best and every argument that I raised he shot it down and defended the other side. Every question I asked this attorney he would state I don't know and he was a very bad litigator in court. Do your research on this attorney before hiring him. There is even a Facebook page out on him it's called McNeill Stokes Bad Atlanta Lawyer Worthless Attorney and I guess he ripped off another client to the point they felt they needed to go to social media. Also his briefs he filed were filled with typos and his paralegal Gwendolyn Oleary Doesn't even posses a college degree nor does she have a paralegal certification or anything. She is simply a secretary that does legal work when she isn't qualified. Do your research before hiring him. He has bad reviews on Avvo.com as well. Mcneill Stokes is an Atlanta attorney who after 45 years of being a corporate lawyer is just now getting into the crinal field. My mother paid stokes 50 thousand dollars over 5 years worth of appeals in which he constantly lied to me and my mother saying he could get the case won on appeal in one of many courts we appealed to. It never happened. Stokes appealed from the ga superior court all the way to the United states Supreme Court and we got denied in every court. Mr stokes could not put the correct dates I plead guilty to my charge and his briefs were filled with run on sentences and misspelled words. He was a horrible litigator in court and won't fight for you in any way. Man just wants your money and that's it. I had other issues for stokes to take care off and none of those issues were handled either. He was rude and hung up the phone on me numerous times. Every question I asked him about my case he would say I don't know. He didn't do anything I asked him to on my appeals. This lawyer is unethical and lies constantly and is full of game.
