I recieved a phone call today from a blocked number and was told that if I didn't pay a negative balance from a bank account that I closed back in 2009 I was going to be sued. First of all you can't close a bank account with a negative balance they would simply keep the account open so you could keep accrewing over-draft charges. I asked for some kind of proof of these claims and I recieved an e-mail from this group with law office letter head. Upon checking up on the Law Office Edward T. Weber via information in Beverly Hills which is where this group claims to be based I was informed no such law office exists, nor did they have a telephone number for the Mckeller Group. I decided to reach out to my former bank and they stated that I closed the bank account with a zero balance and owed them absolutely nothing. When I called back the "McKeller Group" phone number that I was originally given and told them that their claims were false they still insisted that I was "living a lie" and wanted their money. I do believe they were trying to steal my identity and with the little fishing I've done on the internet I see numerous other people have encountered the same issue. They need to be stopped.
