Over thee past 14 years, we have bought and leased several cars at McInerny cj. Well yesterday, before we went to the dealership my wife applied to Chrysler Capital. She was approved with a credit score of 699 trans union, which isnt the best but good enough to lease.
Well , we went to the dealership and we wanted to lease the chrysler 200 limited. she test drove it and liked it. We did have a trade a 2007 Jeep Liberty. At first , they were only going to give us 6000.00. not enough for pay off.we kept going back and forth. Finally, we came to an agreement..Which was, they were going to pay the trade off. and our lease payment was going to be 319.00 a mouth with 600.+ down.
So , we go to see the financial lady...She gives us these credit scores that are way below, what they were 8 hours prior. Are payment went up to 411.00 to lease. She said that when they quoted us the orginal payment that always give tier 1a . Which is bull, because the Salesman talked to the financial officier before the orginal deat
They insisted to use Ally Financial, even though, we were approved through Chrysler Capital. They said , Alley wouldnt budge on the payment. She came down to 389.00. But that wasnt the deal we agreed too.
So, we left last night, and the salesman calls today, and says that he can get the payments to 339.00 a month. Which still wasnt what inially agreed too So we nixed the deal.
In Conclusion, I feel, they were minipulating the credit scores, to make our payment higher. Because , they wanted the difference for the trade 411.00-319=92, 92.00*24 months =$2200. I cant prove it, but its amazing that a credit score from the same bureau can go down , within 8 hours. I will, never do business with this dealership again
