McDonald's retaliated against me because I told the manager that all employees should be washing their hands thoroughly when using the restroom. The manager had been glaring at me and been impolite on a couple of occassions.
Today he filed a false police report and humiliated and embarrassed me in front of other customers. I just thought that MCDonald's would be more concerned than they are with how they allow employees to handle food. When I noticed some of the employees returning from the restroom to the kitchen and either did not wash their hands or did not wash them both hands I casually mentioned it to management.
Every since then the manager has had an attitude with me. Today he walked up to me as I ordered a cup of coffee and started harrassing me like he wanted to start a fight.
He then told me to leave the store or he would call the police. I left then returned and told him, you do need to call the police I felt that my rights wereb being violated and I needed to file a police report too. There were other customers in the store some of which asked me to make sure McDonalds saves the video tape, that will prove who is telling the truth.
Which I have done. If you see someone doing something in a restaurant that could make people sick, would you report it, or remain quiet. Obviously from my viewpoint, I felt that I did the right thing. But the manager at McDonald's feels he has a right to retaliate against me. I feel follow up with a lawsuit, if anyone else has a similar situation, please write to Sapturion, c/o legal department P. O. Box 26142, Wauwatosa, Wi 53226.
McDonalds: I purchase $10 in sandwiches over the last few days and studying into my 2nd week of school; after the first quarter and a worker states to me, i cannot sit there and sleep or use my computer unless i purchase something. Blacksburg location is almost a half a mile uphill where i originated from the road grade is anywhere from 7% to 12% going upstairs and 3 different flights to get to the top and while carrying my laptop bag.
(""I laid my head down for only 20 sec and including from how early and uphill this travel was; along, with rainy conditions"") ""(he did not wait long enough for me to give him an answer ""), (""I did not have the chance to purchase a meal or something equivalent at""). (7:00am) He then threatened to call the police and wouldn't allow me to defend any customer appreciation then purchase something as a customer would.
The outcome is filing a complaint and not allowing this kind of action to another customer, this is a college town and the McDonalds is across the street they don't have any consideration for walking travelers that are business owners, and surveying the area for work prospects to bring services to another location. I also am a full time student at AIU and the respect that i carry; is allowed for most business professionals.
This establishment also allows the abuse by workers and other customers by unsuspecting demon use! The establishment also does not offer any type of emergency preperdnation; for customer or workers in the event that an emergency exist. [High Blood Pressure] [Sugar Diabetes] etc. The use of demons is permitted and has affected my health and created a grade drop in my GPA down to 3.33, with a complaint to my school. The use e911 is not offered nor does it seem that anyone will complain or consider a factor. Careful consideration should be used when choosing restaurants while this activity is persistent.
I was just at this location and the employee made me repeat my order 3 times and when i asked what she was doing that she couldnt get the order she started laughing and said she was busy. When i asked for a supervisor she said ya i bet you need my manager. The manager shushed me told me to stop yelling and then closed the window when i told her she shouldnt be backing up a employee that laughs at the customer cant get orders right. I will never go to this location ever again, I will be initating a complaint with the district manager, this type of behavior is inexcusable and intolerable.
