Unfortunately, The first "business" she encountered was a disgustingly RUDE and PETTY alleged "establishment" (laughable!) called "Michael Bitton Diamond House", which was FAR from professional...
After Mr. Michael Bitton correctly weighed my gold, he asserted an initial estimate which was grossly inaccurate, NOT to my savvy assistant's surprise (Thank you to Demetrio & Son for the ACCURATE value of my gold without the pettiness, lack of professionalism and NASTY attitude- I will return to YOU with my business), my assistant declined to sell my items, as instructed, because the estimate was too low and I knew better.
Once Mr. Bitton realized my assistant was NOT going to sell, he rudely spoke in another language (most likely cursing, due to his body language and tone of voice) to his female associate (HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE), then carelessly dumped my gold on his counter without placing it back in it's original organza bag, and even told my assistant to give me a "message" that he "kicked her out of his store", a store that was unimpressive, at most (This was a booth, not a store). WELL, I have a message for Mr. Bitton; You messed with the WRONG business owner! You belong in a flea market, not a jeweler's exchange, and your behavior was ATROCIOUS! FOR SHAME!!
My feisty assistant had to repeatedly request my organza bag back, as he was at this point bitter and irate, claiming to have misplaced my organza bag. His female associate was kind enough to find my bag that my gold was originally placed in. She obviously realized Mr. Bitton was behaving unprofessionally; It was pathetic!
My assistant was satisfied with DEMETRIO & SON. Thank You!
