On 10-25-2014 I went to Mattress1One to purchase a new bed, dealt with Mr. Alex [district manager and regional manager] no last name, cell phone 305-303-1719. Thought I purchased a dual king comfort pedic color dark brown base and lower to the floor like the one in the store showroom. Alex told me that the bed could be delivered on 10-25-14 he assured me no problem hed had in stock at the warehouse where he made a call [assume to the warehouse].

Went home which is 1-1/2 hours away in Marathon, FL. waited around 3:30p.m. I called to speak with Alex and was told he was busy he'll call me back in 2 minutes. Waited 30 minutes and called back at that time Enrique told me Alex has stepped out for a few minutes and had the to call me back. Waited another 30 minutes and called back again, this time Enrique told me Alex was with a customer.

I asked Enrique if he knew what time the drivers were coming he told me I had to talk to Alex, he said he'll give him the message. I waited 45 minutes this time no call so I called back this time Alex answered and said he was with a customer I told him I've been waiting for several hours for a call back and I was also a customer he told me he'll give me the drivers' number I said O.K. what is it, he said he'll call me back in 2 minutes again I waited this time only fifteen minutes Alex answered and gave the drivers' name and number [Ricky 786-479-7345].

I called and spoke to Ricky he assured me that the bed was on the truk and he was in Cutler Bay and had 4 other deliveries to make and will be there I had asked him about what time he replied around 8:00p.m., I said O.K. if there is a problem please call me. It got to be 8:15p.m. no delivery no call, so I called no answer, called back at 8:30p.m. still no answer left a voicemail saying I am going to the store in the morning and canceling my order.

On 10-26-2014 was heading to the store cancel my order, when I get a call from Ricky the driver with an excuse I didn't want to hear and told him I was on my way to cancel the order. A few minutes later, Kerwyn [boyfriend] called me and said the the drivers are at the house with the bed. I told him O.K. make sure that the bed in not damaged.

I turn around and get home and it's not the bed I ordered, I immediately called the store and spoke to Alex he said send him a picture which I did, he said he got it and he'll call me in a little while, It got to be 2 hours and I called him back he said no proble that his boss told him that the right one is in the warehouse and they will bring it to me tomorrow for sure.

On 10-27-2014 called the store at 10:15a.m. and asked for Alex, Mark a salesperson told me he wasn't in, I asked him if he knew approximately what time the drivers were going to deliver the correct bed because I am at work and need to setup a time, he had told me after 4:00p.m. I asked is there anybody I can speak with that is above Alex he told Amini and that he'll be in between 1p.m. and 2p.m. I asked could you please have him call me. Well it got to be 3:00p.m. no call from anybody so I called back Mark told me that Amini wasn't there and that I should text Alex he also gave me Amini number saying he's at the warehouse [Amini 305-477-6818] tried calling the number no answer.

I texted Alex if he knew anything about the delivery, he texted me to call the store he was in a [meating] meeting, so I did and spoke to Mark and told him what Alex texted he told he looked and saw that the bed was not on the truck this time. So I texted Alex back with the info from Mark. He texted me and said he will call the store in a little while the [meating] is almost over. I texted Alex back 2 hours later telling him if I don't hear anything that my next call was to a lawyer. I didn't hear anything back.

I texted Alex and told him I would like to cancel my order and to pick up the wrong bed and Fax a cancellation letter to TD Bank where I was financed [201-818-0981] for $5,564.00, I also texted the same message to Amini and called the store and spoke to Mark. The financing was thru the store is there something that I can do to chargeback the store.

I can not believe nobody has called back, I emailed to the complaint department on their website to no prevail and got corporate numbers nobody answers either phone: 305-477-6818 or 305-261-3430 got these numbers from Division of Corporations. Can you please help me! I am sleeping on air mattress they took the old bed.

We received a flyer in the Sunday paper from Matress1One stating a Labor Day Sales Event. Free Deliver (no amount of purchase specified to receive free delivery). With purchase of $399 mattress or more, receive: Box Spring $1.00, Memory Foam Pillows $1.00, Bed Frames Any Size $1.00, Matrress Pad Any Size $1.00. It states $1.00 items are with the purchase of $399 mattress or more on each of the four $1.00 items. It doesn't say anywhere: "Your choice of..."

We purchased the Serta Perfect Sleeper 8" Memory Foam Mattress, full size, for $499. The sales person then told us we had a "choice" of one of the $1.00 items. I argued that the ad didn't say "your choice of one", and she said there was a mistake with the ad. Since we also needed to have a box spring with the mattress, we selected that for $1.00. Then she said there would be a $50 charge for the bed frame. Again I argued that it should be $1.00, and she said again there was a mistake with the ad. Then they were going to charge for delivery, and I showed the sales person the flyer that said Free Delivery. She then said: "That's only for purchases of $599 and above." I argued it was supposed to be free delivery. She went to her manager (who happened to be her mother!), and was told she could waive the delivery fee because the total price of the purchase was $588.50.

The delivery date was scheduled for 16 days from today. Once I arrived home, I got to thinking about what a shady deal I just got from Mattress1One and called the sales person to tell her that I was going to cancel the order because I didn't feel that as a consumer, I was being told the truth about my purchase and I wanted my credit card credited immediately She told me she wasn't able to give me a credit, that I'd have to call their home office in Orlando the next day and cancel the order and try to get the credit that way!

If I don't get this resolved when I call corporate, I'll just contact my credit card company and dispute the purchase!
