Gold Coast based swimwear brand maneater swimwear recently released 5 billboards on Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood California in a joint advertising and marketing venture with Los Angeles based, company TM / D Management, LLC.
The campaign set to last for three started in April 2015. The outdoor advertising agreement was entered, between Los Angeles based TM / D Management LLC and Australia based Maneater Swimwear. Maneater Swimwear failded to make its payments on time acoording to contracts' payment terms and and defaulted on all its obligations.
Despite attorney letters sent, Maneater Swimwear owner Renay Wells admitted to have no money to pay for the campaign.
The Australian entrepreneur who had designed the campign, choose her own artworkds, commited to a contract and setup her own calendar of payment terms, has later admited she is not a "bad person" and only had the best intentions.
She feels sorry for TM / D Management loss and said it is a lesson learned.
Renay Wells kept on repeating money would come and be sent but all her sayings turned out to be false promises.
Over the last exchanges with Maneater swimwear she admited going into this agreement knowing she didnt have the funds but was hoping for this campaign to catapult her sales and would allow her to make good on her payments.
Not only a bad business person that will put ypur business at risk, she is delusional, irational, a liar and a crook. Simply a con artist.
