Do not use Lyndon Wolken Repairs It, because he doesn't!
After several years of using Lyndon hs work became worse and worse and he started to not show up for appointments and cancel last minute, literally. He would send an email to you late in the evening before your appointment without a courtesy call.
We had waited several months to have our home painted by him and for one week before my appointment I called daily only to never receive a returned call. The night before he was to show he sent an email saying he was delayed by a couple of months because he was back logged due to bad weather. Understandable but a professional would call and tell you weeks in advance, not the night before your appointment. We had already moved all our furniture and everything for him.
In addition to the above he used the wrong trim to complete a job which then took him about 4 months to repair and he had also installed several doors for us. During this job he took multiple short cuts and did not install one single door knob properly. It took him a month plus to come out again and fix it. The bad thing is the same day he fixed it, they all broke again. This was because he took short cuts and did not install them properly.
During our last appointment he kept taking cheap shots at the company who we ended up using to paint our home because I can aonly assume he was angry for us not waiting another few months for him to no-show us again, something that had become more and more common with him. I guess this is what happens when your arrogance gets the better of you and you think you are so incredible at what you do. Truth is he is ok at most things, an expert and master of none.
During this last time at our home our check was returned to him. We had no idea why and called our bank only to be told that it was his bank rejecting it. he then called his bank who told him it was our bank and the reason was not NSF but becuase it was not written properly. He then received a note from the bank saying it was NSF. So what does the "professional" do who has been paid $1000's by us over the last 9 years? He sends an email saying he doesn't like being lied to and fires us. Little strange considering his bank said one thing, ours another. Clearly a mistake somewhere and after seeing the check it does appear it was written improperly but it sure was not an NSF.
His work is poor, we are now left with one option to repair all his mistakes and poor work. Pay someone else to do it properly and professionaly.
Be very careful of Lyndon. He comes across as a really nice Guy and for all these years I thought he was, but the second you get annoyed with his lack of ability to schedule his time properly and call him on his less then average work he will simply ignore your calls, emails and requests to have his repairs, repaired. It is my opinion that he has stole from me now. We just piad him $677.50 to do some work and repair his mistakes (after waiting a couple of months) and all he did was repair his repairs which broke again and cause additional issues with the new work. Since we are now fired due to a bank error we are stuck with another repair bill to fix his poor craftsmanship.
