In March, 2015, I Mr.Veeranuthu, a Lycamobile sales reprerentative came to my place of business and offered for us to provide Lycamobile services in our store. Mr. Veeranuthu gave us 35 SIM cards in exchange for $140.00 witha guarantee to return the moneys if we are not satisfied with the product.
As it turned out, the Lycamobile product and sales method is not compatible with ours here in many ways so we decided to disconitinue carrying the Lycamobile line of product. I tried contacting the Lycamobile Agent listed bellow via phone and email, at no avail.
Mr Veeramuthu is the sales representatives for many stores in the area and we had inquired about him to other store owners who said they delt with him regularly so we had no reason to be suspeciuous, at the time.
In addition, as a direct result of this fraud, my small company was out of $140.00 which limited our purchase of prepaid services that are more compatible with our point of sales system. This has cost us a customer base.
After many attempts to contact him failed, including via email we began calling his home office. Who directed us to their regional office in New Jersey. In a recent phone conversation, made with a gentleman by the name of Jena at 973-286-2440, he claimed that because I have no receipt, becoming a victim of this fraud wasn't the result of of Lycamobile's lack oversight of their field representatives, but he claimed because I did not require a receipt, that it was my fault, my negligence and that is why I am a victim of a fraudster employed by Lycamobile. He also admited that Lycamobile does not charge its retailers for SIM cards and that their agents should have been giving them to us for free. He told me because I have no grounds to sue them I can go to hell and hung up on me.
As to this issue, we spoke to the small business owners in area that carry Lycamobile and it turns out all those small businesses, in the portland Maine area primarilly the ones owned by immigrants have been defrauded by the same agent, who goes by the name Veeranuthu, and whose last contact information is cell, 1-617-993-0425,fax, 1-617-466-2399, email [email protected]. The address listed on his business card is 29 Williams St Chelsea, MA 02150.
The even sadest part of this is that the owners of these small moms and pops stores do not speak English and are not internet savvy. He had been praying on them for months, maybe years. Many of them thought that was they way Lycamobile did business. Basically all these small business are out of luck and out of money. We are now stuck with 35 useless SIM cards. I emailed lycamobile corprorate to complain and received the same crass response, to sue them if I can followed by a hangup. This company is a sham and probably used to dealing with poor Indians, and they thrive in low income dissadvantage populations. Helpless that cannot and do not know how to come forward are being hurt and exploited unfairly by this Lycatel / lycamobile.

Ordered a free sim card with one month of service. I could not get the sim card activated and was unable to reach anyone to resolve the issue and was given the run around. Also sent an email to cancel and was charged for a month of service any way.
