On April 14th, we bought our little Winston (they named him Hersheal). He was walking differnet the 1st day, but they reassurred us that he had not grown into his hips yet. If you know anything about bulldogs, it is true that they have to grow into their hips. They have a 1 year health guarnantee from any congential diseases. They do not guarantee anything. My poor puppy has only 1 ball that has dropped and the doctors say with the other one not dropping he will have to be neutered. The other ball will turn cancerous and could kill our little baby.
About a week later, he got a cherry eye in his right eye. We put warm water on a paper towel and massaged it till it went down but that would be the 2nd congential issue we had to deal with and the final straw was his leg that we noticed day one but as new bulldog parents we didnt know that something was wrong. We took him into the vet and she told us something was definietly wrong with his leg so we did xrays in which we found out that he has had 3 fractures to his pelvis and 2 luxating patellas (which means his knee caps are not on his knees). They have guessed he was stepped on as a puppy by one of his parents and they said sorry deal with it. The ball not dropping, the knees messed up and the 3 pelvic fractures!! If his growth plate was messed up with the 3 fractures to the pelvis then he will be crippled the rest of his life.
We love our baby and are going to do everything we can to help our 4 month old puppy, but these breeders not only do not care about these puppies but they dont care that they are breaking our hearts as well. He has an amazing sole and we have grown attached to him in the past month and half. We live in a 1 story townhouse and has never fallen or had any accidents. This happened at their house and on their time and pushed this broken little body on us. I love Winston and just can't believe breeders would do this to a breed they have been breeding for 13 years. They have never given someone a new puppy with the 1 year puppy guarantee and never helped like they say are options. They told me they have no intention on exchanging a puppy and never will.
Please becarefull Bulldog lovers! Dont buy from this breeder - Mandy Parker Pyle and Wesley Pyle - Luv-a-Bulldog!
