Lumanelle is mis-leading in their on-line advertisement for a "free" trial of their products. The ad states " for your free trial just send shipping and handling fees". There is no indication of it being a montly subscription to receive these products. They automatically took money out of my checking account without authorizaton from me to do so!! $170.00 plus a small charge for "over the border fees".
when I called the toll free number to complain , I was told I could send back the remainder of the bottles and they would credit me for half of the fees!!! I was to pay all costs to send it back !!!! Then they had the nerve to ask if I liked the product and how did it perform!!!
They also said I would have to call back in 14 days to cancel my subscription.....a subscription I never intended to have!!!! Oh no....I told them this was my call to un-subscribe to something I never agreed on!! After much yelling and screaming, she finally said ok you are cancelled from the plan!!!
Please get word out....this company is treating people wrong!!! They have a product for women that seems pretty good but what a way to get customers to buy it. Unfair practices!!! I feel they stole my money!! I was not expecting to be out almost $200 for face cream at Christmas!!
The Lumanelle company asked via Internet if anyone wanted to try a product for under $5.00. They never said they would consistently charge the credit card. The Lumanell co. does not want to take the charges off of the credit card but I representative after four calls decided she would take half the money off of my credit card.
The representative are mean and unspirited as they talk to a person like they are stupid when one is only tried to get clarity and results. The company has outsourced the 1-800 number but English speaking representatives are the initiatially encounter when ordering product.
I paid the money for the free trials of both products, the hydrate and the repair. I guess I didn't see the fine print and a few weeks later 2 transactions went through my account. One was for $69.950 snd the other for $79.95. The terms and conditions are in very fine print and not easy to find, nor is the cost of the product. You must cancel within 14 days, or else they will charge you every month. Unfortuneatley for me, there are now overdraft charges I have to deal with as well because I never expected $150 to go through my account.
