Mr. Tom Stokes of Loud Media LLC hired my band to play for the Albertson's All Star Gala in April of 2014 for two nights. The first night was a rehearsal that started 5 hours late after our arrival time because the stage and sound were not set up and we were asked to remain until it was done. The next night was the performance. After many phone calls and email exchanges for several months,Mr. Stokes refused to pay for our services and started threatening to sue us because we contacted Albertson's main office over our not being paid.
Albertson's PR person looked up the itemized invoice filled out by Mr. Stokes and on the line for the band it said no charge per Drew Pearson.
Drew nor Tom had any authority to not pay for the band. We learned that Tom nor his business has a physical address to be served with a claim from the court system. So we ran a background check on him. He has a record of non payment as well as criminal. Beware of doing business with this guy.
Do not trust Tom Stokes, Drew Pearson (Former Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver), Loud Media Group LLC, Drew Pearson Show (now known as Sports Plus Show) !!!! I paid Loud Media Group, Drew Pearson and Tom Stokes over $10,000 to film a TV commercial for me and help promote and market my small business for a period of 12 months.
The contract was filled with empty promises and neither Drew, Tom or Loud Media delivered on what was guaranteed in the contact signed by all parties. Tom Stokes even agreed to a refund before dodging my phone calls, text messages, and emails for months.
Tom is great at baiting small business owners by selling you on how big Drew Pearson's name and fame will be after their upcoming movie "The Hail Mary Film" is debuted in 2015. He lies to you and tells you that Tom Hanks is playing Tom Landry and tells a bunch of lies to bait you into believing the marketing move to hire Drew Pearson as your spokesperson for 12 months, film a TV commercial for you, promises you that you will be aired on the Drew Pearson Show, 3 games in the Drew Pearson suite at Cowboys Stadium for the 2014 season, get over 100,000 views on You Tube, 30,000 twitter followers, etc etc etc
Just many promises that never get fulfilled. As soon as you pay Tom Stokes thats it. Don't expect anything after that. They created a twitter and facebook for our business filled with nothing but fake twitter followers and followers from foreign countries that were no benefit to us. The pictures that were done by Tom were low-level photo shopped looking pictures that were never able to be used to market. The TV commerical was never given to us after a number of excuses.
Finally once Tom agreed to a refund and decided to dodge me for months on end I did some research. The Drew Pearson Show I was promised to be aired on in Fall 2014 no longer existed, it was now the Sports Plus Show and Drew Pearson had no involvement any longer. I was told by Drew when asking about the 3 games in his suite that he didn't even have a suite at Cowboys Stadium. Many of things we were promised were fictional and just a plot to scam us out of the money all along.
When I approched Drew Pearson for the refund after months of Tom dodging me, Drew told me that Tom has been doing this for a long time and that we weren't the only company that he had done this to. If this story sounds familar to you, just know your not alone. If you are being pitched currently by Tom Stokes for advertising space, marketing schemes, TV commercials, etc DO NOT buy into it or you will be like myself dumping thousands of dollars into a law suit to sue the crap out of these scum bags.
