It's absolutely ridiculous that the city can tow my vehicle due to street sweeping tickets I have received. 4 in less than 2 months. I have had to park 8 blocks away at times, with a special needs 4 year old child, just to find a legal spot to park. It is overwhelmingly stressful to try day in and day out to find parking in my neighborhood. 90804. I'm on unemployment due to lack of work and I'm being slammed with $50 street sweeping tickets... WTF!!!!! To the Mayor or whoever is responsible for this criminal act to get out of your Cities Debts. Come live my life for one week and see if you don't lose your mind with the responsibility of raising a special needs child and living in a city where no parking is available for the citizens that hand you your pay check. Wait.. pay your ridiculously overpaid SALARY! Now I have to pay too get my car back and the tickets instead of spending what little I have on food and diapers and wipes for my child and I. So I wanted to thank you so much for letting me live in such a warm and embracing city you call Long Beach. I'm sure you will sleep well tonight in your 3 million dollar home and your filet mignon dinner you'll eat tonight. KMA!!!
