WARNING** Location First Vending has been has been scamming investors and restaurants/bars for months.
Atten: BAR/RESTAURANT Owners
You may receive a phone call from a person claiming to be from a charity (United Way, MAD..etc). The sales pitch is that they will install a breathalyzer machine in your establishment and all monies raised will go to the charity. Unfortunately the bar/restaurant has good intentions of helping a charity but in fact NO money goes to any charity. All monies go to the person who has purchased these machines as an investment.
Atten: INVESTORS/BUYERS
As mentioned these machines are installed in restaurants/bars under false pretenses. In many cases the owner finds out about the scam and then has the unit removed. Once the unit is removed you are stuck with a worthless machine. In many jurisdiction of Canada these units have been removed by the local police advising the bar that they will be held legally responsible if a motorist drives drunk after claiming he/she blew into the breathalyzer machine and got a negative reading.
Location First Vending also claims that their units make $200 per month when in fact you would be lucky to make $50 per month and less once the novelty of the breathalyzer wears off.
