I received a voicemail from a man named James Thompson stating that he was a pretrial attorney. They never stated who they were calling for. I called the number back today and one man answered and stated Pretrial. I hung up because I know I don't have anything on my criminal background and I don't have warrants for anything.
When I had time to talk, I called back and asked the name of the company and he stated it is Litigation Services. I asked where the company was located and the man immediately became rude and stated that I didn't need to know that because I may try to come and hurt someone. I informed him that I wanted the address to verify if this was a legit business. The phone number does not come up as a business. I looked for the name of James Thompson on State Bar and there are many, but none have Litigation Services as their business. The phone number does not match for any of them either.
One thing I do know is I don't have warrants and I have verified this information. Any legit business would not have a problem stating their address. I looked up Litigation Services and that name by itself does not exist. I will continue investigating and turning in any and all information that I find for this obvious scam. The phone number that they called from is 210-774-4150.
They call 2 times the 2nd time i called back they are saying that there is fraud charges file against me and trying to get a payment but cant give me any information regarding the account that is past due or information about this account.
Received call from 901-425-1316. Said i was in a criminal investigation from a non paid advanced america loan from 2012 and i will be arrested if i do not resolve this. They had my name, dob, and last 4 digits of my ss#. They hung up on me when i asked information on the company and attorney name they where working on. I called back and they hung up on me again. This is awful as i have recently been a victim of id theft. This number showed up as a tennessee number. If they call you, give them hell!!!!
