This company is beyond ridiculous! They have a terrible business model and they are praying on companies. I also beleive they are the same company or Inc. with a company named American Industrial Enterprises, LLC.
What they will do is contact your business and try to obtain information about who is responsible for ordering your lighting or cleaning supplies. They will do this so that they can reference their name when you call to say you never ordered from them.
Then, once they have that information, they will send out an order to your companies address. Naturally the package will get accepted and signed for because it is address to an individual that will usually get supply shipments. Then they will send you an invoice for an amount that is easily 10x that of the amount these products really cost.
If you call them to dispute this, you will speak to a lady who will ask for an invoice number. She will then place you on hold while she gets a man on the line. Now I spoke with the same man at Lighting X-Change, LLC and at American Industrial Enterprises, LLC. Even though he said they were not Inc. with one another. However the guys said the exact same thing at both companies and sounded exactly the same.
They will tell you that they cannot issue a return shipping label and that you "need to have a good talk with (who ever is listed as the person that placed the order) because they assure you that the person was made aware of the order." They'll even tell you that individual gave them their cell phone number to confirm the order was placed.
I know this is a SCAM company because I have checked with other local business in the area and they have received the same shipments/invoices.
Bottum line, if you receive a shipment for something you didn't order. Or if it is something you normally order from a different company, you may want to send it back immediatly before you receive a bogus invoice. This/these companies are based out of Baltimore, MD. At least thats what their invoices say.
