LIFT Marketing also goes by many other names. I signed up with them to provide a marketing service - email and mobile outreach to my customers and prospective customers, plus gift and loyalty card services for my small business. I had issues with them early on, which my main contact attributed to a poor coach who ended up taking emergency lead and they transferred me to someone new.
I allowed them to persuade me that the initial mix-up was an oddity, that they would do better, and they said they would pause my billing for 4 months to make good. Billing was paused for 1 month - then they started charging me again.
Ultimately, in the 9+ months I've been with them, they sent one email/month for a handful of the 9 months. They failed to deliver on the other promised services as writte in our Monthly Marketing Service Agreement (signed contract), in addition to the three automated monthly email campaigns (birthday, miss you and thank you - but we only got 1 sent out) and a monthly coaching call, we should have received five mobile keywords and one custom email per month (in addition to other things).
Over the 9+ months we paid them, we did not receive monthly coaching calls, the five mobile keywords or the one custom email per month.
And although diligent in my outreach to the company, I have not been able to get a response from the company since December, even though they have continued to bill us. I complained through the BBB, and the company did not respond to them. I've now filed an FTC complaint and am having my attorney take action. Since they debit our business checking account, I don't have the luxury of a chargeback, so have blocked future charges but cannot recoup the $2300+ I paid them.
What they claim to offer and what they actually deliver is night and day different. Add to it that they have completely ignored a paying custoer's outreach since December (4+ months) yet continur to charge me is beyond unethical. This company is a scam. Another unit of my franchise has had the same issues. I don't understand how they are allowed to continue to be in business.
