I saw a video with Dr. Oz and a representative from Garcinia Cambogia and decided to try this product. I believed I was placing an order for 2 bottles and the cost would be $26.95 (one free bottle). I went through the whole ordering process but before i finalized it I decided that I didn't want the product. I never confirmed the order. The last thing I saw on my screen was ""Your Order is Not Complete"". So I exed out of the site before any final confirmation was given. I never saw a total for what I wanted to order, so needless to say i was quite surprised to receive an electronic receipt for $148 almost immediately.
I immediately sent an e-mail and told them to cancel it and put my money back in my account. The next day, to make sure they got the message I called Lifetime LLC and told them to cancel the transaction since i had never agreed to any of it. They flat out refused and claimed that any thing they did was legal and i had agreed to it. I called the credit card company and let them know what had transpired and they said the transaction was still pending and if I had called Lifetime LLC and cancel my order that my money should be back in the account within a few day. Two days later when i checked the money was out of my account.
I again called the Garcinia Cambogia company and questioned why they had still taken the money when my account had been canceled. They told me that the order had already been shipped and there was nothing they could do until i received the package. I told them that I had not authorized anything and they needed to return my money to me, again they refused saying when i got the package I should call them and get an RMA# so that i could return the product and then they would refund my money. I did manage to get a tracking number from them and found out that when i had spoke to them the product had not been shipped yet. I ordered it on 3/31/14 and it didn't ship till 4/1/14. I checked daily and the package sat in that facility for 12 days.
On 4/15/14, i finally received the merchandise and called to get the infamous RMA# and they refused to give it to me. When i ask why, they told me because I had filed a dispute, I would have to have my financial institution call and let them know i dropped the dispute. I called my financial institution and they told me they couldn't call them because i never filed a formal dispute. I had actually just called them to see what my options were and when they said the money would just go back in my account since I had canceled the order and the money was still pending I really believed it was done with. Now 15 days later, I am still waiting to get my money. I called Lifetime LLC back and informed them what the credit card company had told me and they just kept saying they need to call or we can't give you that number. I told them that there was no formal dispute filed and the only dispute is the fact that they had my money and i wanted it back. He hung up on me without ever giving me the RMA#. I have had to cancel the card that I used because I am afraid they would keep charging it even though i have canceled ""my account"" that i never agree to in the first place. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB of Utah and the Attorney General of Utah. I urge other people that were ripped off to do the same and maybe we will all receive the money that this scam company has taken from us.
