I ordered a leather jacket for $189 from leatherhere on april 8th and when i received it in may it was not the size i ordered. To be clear, i ordered a custom leather jacket which bill allen said would be no problem, i sent in all my measurements but the jacket i got had several inches addeded to some of the measurements. I sent a return request as instructed on their website, which was authorized, and mailed the jacket back at my expense For $16).
Originally on my return request i asked for it to be fixed, but since i did not hear back from the company i have sent messages telling them i need a refund, as i do not trust any company that will not contact me and i do not want to pay more return shipping if the jacket was made incorrectly again. Accodring to the tracking # they received the returned jacket on may 8th and since then i have sent many, many messages to them through their website And bill allen's email, which was used during the ordering process) and called their company directly to find out what is happening with my refund.
No one has replied to the messages i've sent on their website, bill allen has not replied to my emails Which he did respond to very promptly during the ordering process), and no one ever answers their phone. I notified them that if they did not issue me a refund by june i would file a report with the better business bureau and the federal trade comission, which i have now done. It is now june 26th and no one has made any attempts to contact me, despite their website's claim that "all emails will be responded to within 24-48 hours", and my money has not been returned to me.
If they continue to refuse to contact me or return my money i will take them to small claims court.
