LBF Travel Agent of San Diego, is an absolute fraudulent company, nothing but liars and thieves. They charged me a $400 additional charge above the ticket price, claiming it wasn't their fee but the airlines. But it wasn't it was a "fee" of the travel agent, that was totally bogus. Long crazy story, but on the phone the fee went from $850 , to $600, to $550, to $450 to $400, it was almost as we were playing a game, let's make a deal. The only reason I agreed was to get my airline ticket that was already paid for and non-refundable, and to get him off the damn phone!! This company refuse to give me the ticket without the fee being paid first, my paid airline ticket was held by ransom. Which they completely lied about!! HORRIBLE company.
I've bought fly tickets for my travel to California a few days ago. Also, I've bought an insurance plan at the "LBF Travel Inc" for $49.12 (Travel Guard Policy #.
When I received a statement from the "Bank of America" I disclosured that "LBF Travel Inc" had charged in additional $40.
Many times I tried to call them but I could not get through. Every time any representative told me that it's not her (his) question and gave me another phone number. I can enumerate all phone numbers: 619-788-5030; 1-858-429-7599; 1-800-826-4919; 1-800-826-7494; 1-877-245-3755; 1-877-247-8248; 1-866-385-4839
I called but no one could me an answer why I paid an extra $ 40.
My only wish is to get a money back ($40).
Could you please help me and a lot of other deceived customers?
I just tried to book a fare online through SmartFares.com. I got down to the part where I process my credit card. Push the submit button, and it says to contact someone at the number shown on my screen, as there was a booking error with my card. I had no sooner gotten up to make the phone call, when I received a call from LBF Travel, asking me if I had tried to book a fare online. I told them I had. The gentleman - who sounded like he was outsourced from India - proceeded to tell me that the fare I wanted was no longer available, but that he could help me book another fare. We proceeded to do that - found a fare a few dollars more per ticket. He asked if I wanted to book the ticket, which we did. He then gave me a confirmation #, and proceeded to tell me that I would be receiving my etickets shortly, and asked if I had any further questions. All seemed OK, so we hung up. This all took place around 8:30PM Eastern on 3/28/14. It is NOW 9:15 PM, and I still have no confirmation email of my order. I started to panic, as the fare was about $1K, and he now had my credit card information.
I tried to call their contact number from my caller ID, which is also their contact number on their website, and I get this recording ""If you would like to make and receive calls anywhere in the United States absolutely free, simply visit MagicJack.com and begin making calls for free. It takes only seconds - that's MagicJack.com. The MagicJack number you have called has not yet been assigned to a customer. Please check the number you have dialed, and dial again."" I HAVE REDIALED FIVE TIMES AND GET THE SAME RECORDING EVERY TIME.
