My abusive husband filed for divorce on October 13. He immediately then began harassing me and moved back into the family home to terrorize me. He even filed a restraining order that prevented my Mother from coming to help out so I could find a job! I was desperate for advice and help! My husband refused to give me any money, and I was a stay at home Mom for the past seven years, I had no form of income other than household which my husband had kept full control of. My family pulled together and came up with $2000 to retain an Attorney! I chose the Law offices of Julie Johnson. First, I will attach the fee schedule! Tell me if anyone can make sense of it! Anyway, I paid them $2050 on October 21, 2014, almost two months ago! In that time, I have been locked out of my home, had a false CPS case filed against me by my husband, lived in my car for two weeks, and last night, my husband came to my parents home where my children and I had a roof and love, and snatched them screaming and crying! All because I could not get ANY advice from my "Attorney".
The first communication I even had with my assigned Attorney, Robin Rubrecht, my family and I had to send 15 emails, and leave 5 voice mails, and send 2 faxes just to get an update on the TRO that I was fighting! The only thing I was told was that my Mom might face harassment charges for being so persistent (well, she's the one who just forked out $2000!).
I then was told by her that I would just have to tolerate my abusive husband being in the home with me for three more weeks because she was going on vacation!
The hearing for temporary orders was one month ago, I still have no paperwork, and now no Attorney. I'm homeless, I'm not even allowed to have my children and Robin Rubrecht had 24 hours notice that opposing council was filing this TRO and refused to warn me Because supposedly I owe her another $1000! Yet, my husband has still given me NO money or followed ANY of the standing orders!
