I am an orthopedic surgeon, when i first went to the consultation for hair removal from my back, shoulders and chest area i specified what i did for a living and asked them exactly what was necessary for treatment and how long the treatment will take. They told me i was the perfect candidate and that the treatment would be 6 sessions at 6 weekly intervals and i could expect minimum 80% reduction in hair. I told them that if this is not for certain then i do not wish to go ahead with the treatment because it is painful and time consuming and not worth it, they reassured me and said those results are guaranteed. They then proceeded to ask me to pay all the money upfront which was $1500, so i asked what if anything goes wrong and i was told i would get my money back if that was the case. anyway i have now almost 9 months later completed 5 courses of treatment and my hair reduction is less than 15% at most so i called their regional manager a lady called Barbara and discussed this with her and i told her everything that had happened and that i had been lied to and misled, she showed sympathy and said i had every right to be upset and that they could offer me extra treatments for free, i said how many will it take and i was told it could be upto 10-12 more treatments to have a decent outcome, i explained that i had said i would not do it in the first place if i was told the truth and that i did want further treatments that could possibly take another 1-2 years to complete. I just wanted my money back as basically i was lied to and cheated. She said she would speak to her boss i guy called Scott and let me know, eventually she called me back and said they do not refund money, i told her how is that possible when i was told otherwise and that nothing has been accomplished, she in reply told me she totally agrees with me but there is nothing she can do. she said she would get the main guy Scott to call me and he never did. I just want my money back, this is definitely not the correct way to conduct business
Don't waste your time or money here. You will pay top dollar for a revolving door of temp nurses doing the treatments. None of which monitor your treatment and how it's going. Only full time employee is front dest. She is also greeting, scheduling and selling so good luck with getting help from her.
I did NOT buy my treatments on a groupon. I spent $1741.00 on chin and bikini (6-8 treatments on the bikini and 10-12 on the chin. It started off a little cheaper then that but when you get in they upsell you on each area. It was more expensive then all the other places I called but Jamie assured me they have the best lasers etc. etc.
The first two treatments went well, they were with stephanie and the hair fell out.
EVERY other treatment after that was with a new temp nurse. I came on the same day of the week at the same time and I never had the same person twice. NONE of those treatments worked. The hair didn't fall out, no reduction NADA.
At every treatment I voiced my concern to Alivia (front desk) and the nurse of the day (who was treating me) that the sessions didn't seem to be working. Alivia passively said she would make a note for the nurses to check up. NOTHING happened, each time whatever nurse I had just passed the buck to the next person saying "Ok, I'll make a note in you file to check up."
At two of the treatments the nurses said they weren't sure if the machine had even heated up enough and was working. Several said they had real full time jobs somewhere else (not a laser clinic ) and just did this every once in a while.
So at the end of my treatment, less then two months after the last treatment ALL the hair is 100% intact in those areas. Not even a 20% decrease on either area.
When I went in to ask for a refund they suggested maybe my hair isn't treatable. I went to an office with a plastic surgeon and nurses (that only work at that clinic full time) looked at my hair and said it is definitely treatable. I have white skin and dark hairs in the areas. I have already bought a package at the new clinic where the Dr.s and nurses work there full time and it was only $600 for those areas and they guarantee it.
I want my money back for all the treatments that were poorly done. I am really upset I wasted so much time at laser way. If I had gone some place else I wouldn't be in the same spot I started in. They offered me more treatments but I want my money back I can't waste any more time. Especially since I had already voiced my concerns so many times and no one bothered to do anything until I asked for a refund.
