I pruchased a rotary evaporator unit that has never worked correctly. If I could get it to hold vacuum at all, it would only run for 40-60 min before the motor completley stops.
It has been almost a year and I still have never really been able to use it because of the issues. It has been sent back 4-5 times for the same repair. Still refuses a full refund.
A 50% refund or partial credit to a new unit is all he offered (besides trying to fix it again, but i doubt hes able). My "new" unit options were another 3L unit (used and not rebuilt) for $1000 more with trade in credit, $3400 more for a new 5L unit or over $12k more for a 10L unit. Hes the scummy used car sales man of medical equipment. Its even listed in his ad that "We except change of mind returns". Well I have changed my mind and would like to return it since it has never worked and he can't seem to fix it.
