I too fell victim to the advertising using Ellen DeGeneres picture claiming that she was released from Cover Girl as it's spokes person due to her use of these companie's products. I saw this as an advertisement ad on my Smart phone. I called the ! 800 number given and made the purchase for a trial offer for the price of $4.95 for each product. Cost was charged to a credit card. I asked how long it took to get the product and was told that it might take a few weeks due to high deman. However, the trial period would not start until ten days after the product had been received at my home. I could all any time with in that ten days to cancel the subscription. I should have heard the alarm bells ring a warning, when I asked for a customer service number and was told that the number available was the same one that I had used to call in to place an order. The exact same line was for each product ordered, as if reading from a script. I have made many purchases on line or over a telephone number, and always before I was given a different number to call the company with any concerns or problems. Okay, order placed and no product shows up. However, I do receive an email stating that the product was shipped and according to the company sent e-mail, the product was delivered. This shows for for La Dermanique product and the Lumera Eye Serum, exact same text, but different postal tracking numbers. \ USPS states that it can't investigate until multiples of weeks after a contested delivery, as to why customer did not receive items shipped, or what happened. In the mean time, my credit card is charged for a subscription to this product, first one company, and then the other. Within a couple of minutes of each other, each company requested that supposed subscription charge be debited to my account, same day, and taking place at approximately two am. Fortunately, I have text alerts set up for any charges to my credit cards, and that same day I contacted my CC service to dispute the charges. Not only did I not want that subscription, I had never even received the trial product to find out if I liked the products. This is not a company launch as it appeared in the advertising, but a scam to consumers, using a famous person to sucker us in, and then failing to deliver on product and terms of contracts, both. DO NOT ANSWER to any advertisement to either La Dermanique , OR Lumera Eye Serum! I hope that Ms. DeGeneres's people hear about the complaints and issues warnings to her television viewers and fans.
