I responded to an ad for a sample of Lacreme products. I purchased the products online for $15. There was no indication that the product would continue to be sent each month or that my credit card would be charged every month. There was no information that future products would be $87 and $35 each month. I never would have agreed to have my card charged as I was not interested in ongoing service.
I called the company to talk with them about the fraud. A customer service representative offered me a deal in which I could continue receiving the products for 50% off! There was no acknowledgement of the fraud. I was told I agreed to the credit card charges by signing up for the sample products.
Hopefully, the company can be trusted to actually cancel my "order". I was given a confirmation number but I don't have confidence I will not be charged again. I'm very angry and frustrated because I feel I have little recourse. I am glad to report this fraud but it falls short of satisfaction. I would like my money back. I would like to stop this fraud so others are not in the same situation.
My bank called me if I authorized the charge of 87.63 for bella lab and la crème and I said No! I only agree for the trial which I paid for shipping only. So I called the 2 companies bella lab and la crème and requesting to cancel my account and ask for a refund of 87.63. He said that I agree with their terms and condition and they can't refund but offered me 50% off instead. I want my money back not 50% but 100%. The guy I spoke with was very difficult at first but I was so persistent to stop it and get my money back. I only agree one thing for the trial which I paid for shipping only and No further charges that I agreed on. I did not see the terms and condition that says 14 days trial and they will charge me monthly. If I ever saw it, I would never get into it. So I will return the cream and hoping to get my refund or else I have to reverse it with my Bank.
La Creme falsely advertises a FREE 2 week trial of their moisture cream.
Just pay shipping and handling, $4.95 and receive your two week trial. When you receive it, in the fine print you're told that you will be charged $87.63 after 2 weeks.
If you return it later then the two weeks time, you are charged the full amount, and refused a refund. If you choose to return it, you pay shipping and handling, or you're offered the benefit, of paying half price.
I'm disappointed in companies who advertise one thing, and don't follow through with it. I wasted time, energy, and money, based on a false advertisement.
This product is a Rip Off and doesn't work....I developed a rash about 3 days in to my "trial" It took 7 days from when I ordered to receive it. (which was by "their rules" was already day 10); and when I tried to call and inform I was put on hold then hung up on...2nd time I was told try it a few more days the rash should clear up. When I received the product there was NOT an invoice or paper of any kind that would even have the phone number to call, the only way I was able to even call was to look at the jar for info, which was hard to read so I used an internet search to find the phone number needed. They charged my account $87.63 and won't refund it.
Misleading 'Free 14 day trial' offer. You pay for S&H only. They actually send you more than a 14 day supply and if you don't go back online and cancel, they bill your account for 87 dollars plus change. This is not clearly stated when you order sample. They will charge you this much monthly. I called on day 16 when I saw the charge in my account and cancelled but they will not refund me the 87 dollars. And the face cream is nothing special.
La Creme Skin care keeps sending me the anti-wrinkle cream monthly since January. I only ordered the trial offer, and haven't used that up yet. I want to stop them from sending the product and charging my credit card. How can I get them to stop? I've called, and never get an answer.
I thought La Creme Skin Care was sending me a free trial of a skin cream; but when I called to cancel, only 2 days after receiving cream, they said I must pay for product.
When I said I wanted to return cream, they were evasive about instructions to send it back. They provided no packing slip, no price list and no RMA or shipping label.
The company's lack of information and evasive response by phone aroused my suspicion.
I feel as though they were trying to trick me. They are definitely a fraudulent business to stay away from.
I want them to exempt me from any ongoing or further financial charges by their company, as has already been done for me by Bella Labs, their sister company, also located in San Diego, California.
La creme skin care along with Bella labs run an ad on Dr Oz site for skin rejuvenation. This ad is extremely misleading. For a small shipping fee you get both facial skin creams. Implying it is same company. In very small print they say to return it in 10 days for refund if unhappy or you get charged $87.63. That is $87.63 for each. When product was received there was no receipt no paperwork at all. I am somewhat visually imparied. Couldn't read their fine print in their ad. No instructions included or receipt included. One month later I got another shipment I didn't want again no paperwork to contact them. I was outraged when they told me they wouldn't refund. But did cancel me For future Shipments. Then next month I got another shipment from second company again with no paperwork. That the when I realized they where two separate companies. They wouldn't refund my money but they did cancel my next shipment. They scammed me out of $440 before I figured it all out. Dont get caught up in this theft.
The La Creme Skin Care company=SCAM is running a deceptive come-on ad that gets you to order thier cremes with shipping only fee of $4.99 and then charges your account without permission and starts sending you more cremes at $89 each. They must be stopped. I am an elderly person that is losing her eyesite. This is abuse to an elderly person.I have written them to return my money and they have not replied so far!!!!
La Creme Skin Care (made in Vietnam) advertised a free sample jar for shipping charges of 4.50. It arrived within a week.
Two weeks later, around mid February, another charge appeared on my bank account credit card for 87.63. No other product has been received from this company since the original sample.
The company had not said there would be a further shipment...nor did they mention in future charge.
What can I do to get my money back?
I would like to know how to warn others to avoid this company.
Several months ago I order a sample product from bellalabs.com, Carson City, NV and a sample of LaCreme Skin Care, CA. The website was a single one for both of these companies so they are in cahoots. Neither product mentioned a program that allowed them to access my credit card ever again after my purchase of my samples. There was no amount given for future purchases of these products. Who on earth would ever give any company or person, especially unknown, carte blanche to their credit card. Actually, one of the products had a spot to select whether you wanted further information or something of that nature and I chose no. I do think they have a system that shows different pages of their business actions depending on who they wish to see it.
I was completely shocked and horrified to see both of these companies accessed my credit card for huge amounts not just once but several times. I am looking into a lawsuit against both but know from what my Credit card company told me this is a long standing scam these type of companies are getting away with. I feel it is imperative they are stopped cold. This is not only credit card fraud, it is computer based fraud!
I bought a free trial of the La Creme Skin Care for 4.95 $ just for shipping, after 2 weeks my card was charged for 87 $ when I checked it was this Company which charged me without my permission and it was because they tell that we sent you a 30 days supply so after 14 days trial you will be charged monthly!!! right now I am trying to call them to cancel my order and soooo much pissed off!! even I can do something insane against them because of this!
This is a total scam. Do not accept any free trial offer. My offer popped up on my comput.er. "Just pay for shipping". Did not say anything about free trial or anything. I won this supposedly. Just goes to show that IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT IS! Have taken $87 plus from my debit card twice. put on hold several times waiting for supervisor. Got cut off! Imagine that. I was told 1 time they would refund me 25%. Another time 50%. Told him I wanted ALL of my money back & would wait for the supervisor. I was then cut off!
La cream offers a Free 14 day trial of their anti wrinkle face cream. Only payment is a $4.95 shipping fee. The package arrived with a larger then 14 day supply bottle and no invoice. Now my credit card bill comes and I am charged $4.95 shipping AND $87.63 for the bottle of cream. I immediately call the company and tell them I will be returning the brand new unused bottle of the cream and I wanted a refund. I was told I missed the 14th day to cancel, and the cream was mine and I had to pay for it. I was told unfortunately you called on the 16th day. They were rude and had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Nothing is FREE from this company. They scam you into BUYING their product. If I hadn't caught this, they would be charging my credit card $87.63 a month Plus the $4.95 shipping.
Very hard to get intouche with thew customer service. You are on hold for a good ten minutes, then you are asked to leave a detailed message and an agent will get back with you. I have perfomed this twice and still received no call.
I ordered July 03,2014 a trial sample of this creme, for FREE just pay for shipping, that was to help reduce wrinkles and tighten my saggy face from LA Creme Skin Care Support, as they advertised a quick and successful lift to your face and neck. They gave you 2 weeks to try it from the date you order. I didn't know that they start the trial at time you order.
Well I live in Idaho, its a pony express area, slow mail delivery. By the time the product arrived, I had 3 days to try it. I called them on the 15th of july and tried to cancel order that day cause I didn't have time to test the product. The gal I talked to Brean said that she could extend the trial period 2 more weeks.
I received my bank statement the 2nd of Aug 2014. That company took $4.95 out of my account on the 3rd of july 2014 and $87.63 out of my account on the 18th of July 2014. Being that it was a weekend the 2nd Aug 2014, called everyday after that and finally reached people on the 5th of Aug 2014.
I talked to a guy this time, and tried to cancel product cause it didn't work for me, and ask for refund, I told him the whole story about not receiving the product that gave the 14 days to try it. He said he was sorry but under their contract they could not extend a 2week extention and they couldn't refund any more then 25% of total. I asked why not, he said because you are on an auto-pay plan. I said I ordered a FREE sample and just the shipping I was to pay, nothing more. Who put me on this auto-pay plan? You did by ordering the creme sample. So the sample cost me 87.63 plus shipping of 4.95.
I feel sorry for you. Me have the same problem. The only different mine just started. and i'm not gonna let them get my money without my consent. Call them once more and ask to get a refund if you still have the product to return and cancel your account so No further charge will be taken from your bank ask for a full refund. Make sure to get all the information from the people you talked to on the phone about the problem because you can use the information to supply for your bank if you want to dispute the charges. Good luck!
Misleading 'Free 14 day trial' offer. You pay for S&H only. They actually send you more than a 14 day supply and if you don't go back online and cancel, they bill your account for 87 dollars plus change. They will charge you this much monthly. I called on day 16 when I saw the charge in my account and cancelled but they will not refund me the 87 dollars.
