2 The best of my knowledge debts cannot be attached (i.e.garnishment of wages, etc. etc.) without a court order. This means a civil lawsuit where judgement is granted in favor of the plaintiff (in this case LDC). I think that I am correct on this, however DO NOT follow my advise without investigating for yourself. On the lighter side I do not have job where wages can be attached,
I do not have a drivers license (do not need one), have not had a credit card since 1974, so my credit score is (probably -4 !!!!!!), so I do not give a good God damn about that, (do not own an automobile any more). This all started with a traffic citation for crossing a white line. The fine is $175.00, City of flagstaff Az. These people are taking lessons from the MAFIA. I tried 2 take care of the matter in a civil manner, but the city (being as sleasey as they are) would not work with me (I get $467.00 per mouth - retirement), so the city sent it 2 ldc. (az) They want $375.85. More MAFIA!!!! My advise, DO NOT deal with flagstaff az in any manner, U will get screwed. I do not capatlize some places in order to show my disrespect. Credit reporting agencies R on the same slease level as flagstaff & ldc. I could go on & on but I think I have made my point.
I was involved in an incident that requires me to pay a hefty fine with no jail time. I have been making weekly payments without fail. Then one day I got a call saying I didn't pay even though I had more than 1000 dollars in my checking account. They called my friend who was paying the same fine as me and was told the same thing. The next day I was charged and I payed the fee without further calls. From there on out I have been getting threataning letters from LDC Collections saying I must pay the full amount or legal action will be taken. Even though I was told by a court judge I can make payments and if I miss a few, just call and notify the court of the circumstances. I have not missed any... Ldc is a scam and I don't care what they ever send me I will never ever ever pay them a single ****ing dime!
